I am a Master’s student currently studying at TU Dresden. I live alone in a private apartment, am in good health, and have no bad habits — I do not smoke or drink alcohol.

I currently keep a small hamster at home. She is 1.5 years old, very quiet, and lives in her own enclosure, so she will not disturb or interfere with other animals.

Living environment

The bedroom is separated by doors, allowing pets to have their own safe and comfortable activity space. Overall, the environment is well-suited for temporary care of cats and dogs, ensuring both safety and freedom of movement.

I truly love animals and have rich experience in caring for both dogs and cats. I am responsible, patient, and always treat animals with great respect and care.

My motivation to become a pet sitter

On the one hand, I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and dogs — being with them makes me feel relaxed, happy, and emotionally comforted. On the other hand, as a student, I am currently not financially ready to adopt a cat or dog of my own. Therefore, I would love to help pet owners who need temporary and reliable care for their pets while they are traveling or busy, through Pawshake.

My experience

In China, my family has a Poodle who is now 8 years old. I have been taking care of her since she was one month old, which gives me nearly eight years of hands-on experience in dog care. I was responsible for her daily feeding, morning and evening walks, as well as annual vaccinations and regular deworming.

As for cats, I often help my friends take care of their cats when they travel or return to their home countries. Sometimes they leave the cats at my place, and sometimes I do home visits with keys. I clean the litter box daily, prepare fresh food and water, give hairball treats when needed, groom the cats, and spend time playing with them. I have experience with cat boarding for up to one month.
