About Me

My name is Lisa and I am originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I studied Environmental Studies and Water Management at McGill University. I moved to the Netherlands in 2016 and moved to Germany last November. I am an extremely friendly and outgoing person, and I absolutely love all animals! In my pictures you’ll see my two dogs back home in Canada - Buddy and Tikki -and my friends dogs we took to the beach. You will also see the greenery near our apartment in Bonn Beuel! I speak English and French and I am learning German.

My animal experience I always grew up with pets in my life. Ever since I was a baby, I was surrounded by Great Danes, Pitbulls, and Huskies. We mostly adopted our dogs from shelters to give them a better life. I also had a pet budgie and my sister and I also had hamsters. When I moved into my own apartment, my roommate and I adopted 2 cats. So, I have quite an extensive history with all kinds of animals! I especially love dogs and cats, even the most difficult or timid ones. I know how to handle tough dogs on leashes (as mine are back home!) and I also dont mind getting dirty with dogs out on walks. I have also volunteered at numerous animal shelters, including the SPCA in Montreal, and the Ark Dog Shelter in Barbados. I have also babysat my friend's dogs here in the Netherlands, as I have not yet had the opportunity to care for my own pet. This is why I wish to offer my time to take care of your pets, since I do not get to see my own very often back home!

Availability and Services

I work from home so I am am available all the time! I would be happy to check up on your pet at your house, or to walk your dog depending on your schedule. I would be delighted to take your dog for a walk around these beautiful green areas, to meet and greet with other dogs (if they like that!). I would be happy to also visit your house to babysit your dog or visit daily. When walking dogs, I discuss first with the owner on the dog's abilities and preferences. Walks can range from what is possible for your pup, from 20 mins to 1 hour each walk. I can offer 1-2 walks a day.

For Cats I can also visit your house to take care of your cats, to feed and clean out the litter. If your cat also enjoys the outdoors, I am happy to keep an eye on them when the want to wander and return to your home. For Other pets I am also happy to take care of and visit your home if you have a bird, reptile, hamster, bunny or other that needs to be checked up on!

For all pets, depending on the services required, I am readily available upon your schedule and needs. If the pet is staying with me, I am currently working from home and my partner is a student, so we can give a lot of attention to your pet throughout the day.

My Home

My home is currently an apartment in Bonn, and we live next to a lovely green space 2 mins walks from the Rhine river! We have a small balcony and have an open green space or courtyard in front of our apartment, but not fenced in. We live on the 2nd floor.
