Hi! My name is Maria, I come from Argentina and I live in Berlin since May 2019. I am an artist and scenographer. I speak fluent English, Spanish, French and I'm learning German (b1.2). I come from the film industry, but since I became a student again I'm looking for small jobs, and what could be better than taking care of this sweetest animals!?
I only attend school 3 times a week (mon-wed) during the evening, and the rest of the time I work and study from home so I have full time availability for home caring or also for 1-2 sittings a day. I am also available on weekends unless it's blocked on my calendar.
I have always been in charge of animals. My very first one appeared in my life when I was 15. Mia, the cutest Siamese in the world. She lived with me for 16 amazing years, she was very happy and healthy. Then, I moved to a dog experience with Toto, my always cheerful Poodle. Sadly, he had to stay in Buenos Aires with my mom, but I plan on bringing him to Berlin in the long term. Since a couple of years I have been taking care of friend's and acquaintances cats and dogs (and even once a turtle) who needed care and love, during vacations or just busy times at my home in Buenos Aires, and sometimes staying at theirs.
I take caring responsibilities very seriously, so you can expect from me full commitment and of course, much love and cuddling for your pet. I know very well how important it is to feel assured that your little one is having the best treatment since I owned cats and a dog myself.
Since every animal has its own personality, their special needs and preferences should be discussed for a better caring. I also like knowing about special games and cuddles so that I can bond with them better.
Special activities like going to the Vet or taking the pet from point A to point B are also a possibility.
Home-sitting:
My home is a 110 square meter apartment, full of light all day long and in the heart of Prenzlauerberg. I live together with Eric, my boyfriend, who also loves pets and is also very keen on taking care of them. We would be happy to welcome your pet for day care or for longer stays.
If you would leave your dog at my home, for example, the average amount of walks per day would be 2 or 3, depending on it's needs, and of course, some extra time at the park is always a great
way to make them exercise. For a cat, we have everything needed (cat toilet, scratching surface, toys), but it is always recommended to bring along with them a cushion or a piece of fabric with its scent, so that they can adapt more easily to the new environment (this also applies for dogs). I have no problem in shopping myself for their food and sanitary Litter, if previously arranged.

My kitten Iggy was so happy and calm after having spent his first whole day without me and outside of home. Maria Cecilia and her lovely flat were the perfect for him. I could tell he got a lot of care and attention. Couldn’t have asked for a better first time sitter. Thank you! ♥
