My name is Fiona. I am 32 years old and recently moved to Berlin from Canada. I have always loved all animals and grew up surrounded by them. In my adulthood, I have owned many different pets (dogs, cat, geckos, fish, Guinea pig) taken dog training courses, pet sat for dozens of families with up to 6 pets at a time. I have spent the past 5 winters working with rescue organizations (SNIP TCI, TCSPCA) trapping and spay/neutering stray dogs (trap & release) and fostering/rehabilitating/training rescue dogs and puppies in the Caribbean in order to get them ready for their forever homes. I have done dog training courses, worked in a doggy daycare/ board and train facility and have experience going on pack walks and hikes. I also have several years experience working in pet stores which makes me knowledgeable about a lot of aspects of pet care for many different types of animals. I have experience with cats, dogs, reptiles, small mammals, birds and salt and fresh water aquariums. I have taken care of pets (dogs, cats, snakes, fish and birds) with special needs, many types of medical requirements (pills, washing paws after walks, ear and eye cleaning, bathing due to allergies, strict/restricted feeding diets) and am comfortable administering medications intravenously if necessary (ex: diabetic, iron or b12 shots, intravenous antibiotics or allergy meds).

I always find a way to bond with animals and tend to get them to come out of their shell. I truly love all animals and always have their best interest at heart. I tend to be a bit of an animal whisperer, getting shy dogs and cats to love me, to the surprise of their owners.
