Hello! My name is Xanthe, and I would love to become a pet sitter because I love being around animals, and have always grown up with them. I've had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice and the fish who lived in the pond (we can't forget them!) I love all animals immensely, and would love to have dogs and cats of my own. Sadly I'm not settled enough, and believe that looking after an animal (especially a dog) can take as much effort as a child which is something that I can't undertake at the moment. So pet sitting would be my way of getting my dose of pet.

I live on the 5th floor without an elevator, so I won't be able to look after larger animals who have difficulties with stairs, because I won't be able to carry them all the way up. All smaller animals are welcome though! While the apartment may be high up and therefore only has a balcony, I do live in between Tempelhofer Feld and Hasenheide so there are plenty of space for your pet to run around.

I am currently studying to become an English teacher, so can be at home 24/7 if necessary - I have no fixed schedule to adhere to. 

While I have never done pet sitting professionally, I have looked after friends' pets while they've been away, so I am no stranger to other people's pets.
