As someone who has had a pet cat and now a pet dog, I can totally understand how hard it is to let someone else take care of your pet because everyone is used to a certain standard of care & love for their pets. That's my foremost thought when playing or walking someone else's pet, to treat them exactly as my own if not better. I love pets, I currently have a 6 year old labrador that I have raised since he was born, thus I understand the care it requires at all stages of a pets age.
I am applying for this position since I wanted to have a little bit of passive income but also I wanted to do something I would love and enjoy. Taking care of pets comes naturally to me and so I believe I'd be a very good fit. SInce my own pets are vacinnated, I would prefer to be paired up with vaccinated pets.
I am open to walking/ house sitting preferably in the afternoon and evening, however exceptions for morning can be made if i am notified timely.
I also have experience with training dogs to a moderate level and can assist with that during walks/house sitting.
I would generally offer walks of upto 30-45 minutes and in case any pets have higher requirements we can discuss that too.
I'd be happy to help with small tasks around the house in case of house sitting or small visits (30-45 mins). Since I have had pets, I can also administer medication to the pets if needed.
In case full time care is required for the pets after a surgery/operation, I can assist with that as well (keeping close observation, timely medication etc.) but the details will have to be specified beforehand.
