My name is Dessie, currently studying biosciences at Heidelberg University.

I'm living in a dormitory in St.Ilgen (at the outskirts of Heidelberg), where dogs or any kind of animals are not allowed. Therefore I wanted to find a way to satisfy my need for animal interaction. So here I am, ready and really happy. Although I live a bit outside of Heidelberg, I'm available to go wherever it is expected from me.

As a bio student I do have a certain affinity and affection towards all living beings and things. As for dogs, I had a lovely pekingese named Brownie, who died almost 7 years ago. I did also have a turtle Joey, life hasn't been that fortunate for him too. After that I have mostly helped at animal shelters and do take care of my friends' pets too. So, I do have enough experience, bust most of all love and enthusiasm.

I'm originally from Bulgaria. To be honest, I do still quite struggle to fit in here, so this is actually one of the reasons I want to become a pet sitter. I'd love the company. I really do believe spending time with animals could improve my mental health and overall mood. It's a win-win for us all :)
