Hi, My name is Emily and I am 20 years old. I have just finished my first year at university and like to offer dog sitting during my holidays. I started dog sitting while I was in school and have been dog sitting for over 3 years now. I have always wanted a dog but being at school full time and traveling it was never really the right time to get one, which is why I began dog sitting. Being a student means that during the holidays I have lots of free time so can spend all day with the dogs or offer dog walk lasting up to 45 mins per booking( multiple bookinga can be made a day).

I am also avalible for home visits for other animals from cats to hamsters to fish.

I do not have any pets of my own and I live in a house with a completely enclosed garden, so even during the day the dogs can run around outside as much as they wish. I have experience with many different types of dog, from husky-lab mixes to jack russels. I love looking after dogs of all different ages (including puppies) and sizes, and with support from my family I am able to offer the dogs a happy family environment for them to relax in during their stay. As your holiday is also their holiday. I live with my parents and my younger brother (aged 14), all are pet lovers and adore having the dogs over. They While they do sometimes come on walks and gove lots of attention I am the main carer and contact while the dogs are with me.

I live in a small town surrounded by many parks and green spaces, I enjoy walking the dogs in all weather as it allow me to get some exercise as well as them. There are 2 dog friendly parks nearby, and while I do not allow them off the lead, it allows them to interact with other dogs if they wish. My fully enclosed garden allows me to play with the dogs off the lead so they can run around, even in the summer my garden always has shaded spots so even when it's hot the dogs can sleep in the shade and enjoy the fresh air while staying cool. I am able to offer dog sitting at my house as well as making home visits during the day if you are out for a long period off time. I can take multiple dogs at a time, two for a long period of time and three for a short period of time (such as a weekend or few days) however if the dogs come from the same owner a longer time is possible.

I believe the best way to make a dog happy is to follow their normal routine as much as possible, being home means I have the flexability to feed them when they would normally be fed, walk them when they would normally be walked and give them lots of attention. When the dogs come to stay with me they have the option of sleeping in the living room, my room or even on my bed if they owners allow it. I will only allow dogs on the sofas if that is allowed at home as I do not want to teach them any bad habits!

I can look after any type of dog, the only requirement is that they are house trained and friendly with kids. I have a brother who is 14 years old and the neighbors have younger children who do not come in the garden but walk past. So the dog must be ok in a family environment. If your dog is not friendly with other dogs please make this clear, I can work around it but I need to know when making other bookings. I am also able to take the dogs into Munich or occasionally to the Alps so they can have long walks in the fresh air. I am also able to take them to any appointments they have, but this will be extra.

I like to be able to have a "get to know you meeting" or kennenlernen before the dog comes to stay so the dog can meet me and I can meet the dog. I look forward to hearing from you.
