My name is Emilie and I am an avid dog caretaker and dog walker. I have taken care of my uncle's two Shiba Inus (aged 2 and 4 respectively) for two years in Toronto, Canada and have a lot of patience dealing with their contrasting personalities. I consider myself high energy with a knack for finding new parks and neighborhoods to walk through with the dogs. In additional to regular play time, feeding, and walking, I have also administered medicine and applied bandaging to minor dog wounds (i.e. bleeding paw). Many of my friends in Berlin also own dogs and I have a natural affinity towards walking them and looking after them when the owners are busy.
I also have experience in doing drop-in checks for cats as I have assisted in feeding, playing with, and emptying the litter box of my friends' cats as well.
I currently work as a freelancer so I have flexible hours to walk dogs during the afternoons and evenings. I am hoping to spend at least 1-2 hours a day with each pet.
For dog-sitting, I am also available to meet in the Mitte area and stay overnight if necessary.
I would prefer to walk dogs of a medium size (i.e. no more than 80 lbs.) and aged 2+ years.
I currently live alone and do not own any pets.
