Hello; I’m Andrea, an English-speaking freelancer living in Moabit with my partner, a former plant and soil scientist. We lived with three cats for a year, and while don't have any pets of our own right now, but we both adore animals of all types, from dogs to cats to guinea pigs to actual pigs. I began to dog- and cat-sit while living in New York (and living with a large dog as a shared caregiver), and enjoyed the work so much that I decided to continue here in Berlin. I already have 3 regular “clients” -- all canine so far -- as well as 2 occasional felines, and I am loving it so much that I’m looking to expanding my nonhuman clientele.
I offer:
- Flexible schedule - I am a freelancer working from home, and can spend as much time with your companion as needed every day, 7 days a week - and while I'm based in Moabit, I have easy access to all neighborhoods;
- I offer 30-90 minute dog (or cat!) walks in any neighborhood, including trips to the “Hundepark” in Moabit; I have 6 walking appointments available per day. I do have a cat harness, for any adventurous felines.
- Daycare in my home, which is equipped with spare dog and cat toys, sticks, doggie bags, dog and cat treats, pet feeding bowls, scratching posts, and cat litters;
- Petsitting in your house;

Andrea was really great! Our cat was well cared, regularly visited and entertained. Everything is clean, the cat is not stressed. Andrea was constantly in contact with us, sharing pictures of him. We thank her very much and recommend her services.
I can absolutely say that Andrea was THE BEST pet sitter I have ever had (and I have encountered many)! She immediately got along with all of the pets, which put us at ease, and was very open to all the different instructions we left. I felt so incredibly comfortable leaving her to take care of all our pets, as well as our house. She was around the animals as much as possible. She also administered eye medication for our dog three times a day with absolutely no problems. She also sent us photos and updates every day and reassured us that all was well at our house. You can easily tell how much she cares for the animals, but also for the owners. She went out of her way to ensure the experience was as good as it could possibly be!
In addition, our house was left spotless and she had cleaned the sheets and towels for us before we evern got home - they were hung drying when we walked in which was a huge relief as we arrived later afternoon on Sunday. She also took care of the planets around the house. And, the house was sparkling clean (I'm pretty sure in better condition than when we left it) when we arrived. She took down the trash and recycling at the end of her stay, and it was fantastic to come back to such an organized and tidy home after travel. She even left us some roots for a plant she thought we might like!
I would recommend Andrea 100 times over, and I plan on inviting her for any time we have to be away from our pets! She is kind, considerate, and a true animal-lover. Thank you so much, Andrea!
