Hi there,

I have recently moved to Berlin in the new year and have been overwhelmed at how pet friendly this city is! The dream would be to have a pet of my own but since this isn't possible just yet I thought pet sitting would be a great way make some fluffy friends and share the love.

I am a 26 year old from New Zealand originally and after travelling for four years I have chosen to make Berlin my home. I have a degree in Marketing majoring in Advertising, which is one of the reasons I chose Berlin as I am hoping to work in the industry.

I have always grown up with pets, having 2 dogs and 2 cats at a time in my family home. I have taken two puppies to dog training so understand the importance of sticking to your rules and routine. I am confident with big dogs and little dogs alike, you can feel sure that they won't pick up any bad habits with me. I am also flexible to cater for whatever your pet needs e.g. a one hour run everyday or 30mins of laser stimulation for the cat.

I currently work Monday- Friday 9-5 in an office with option of working remotely from home, leaving my schedule flexible for all the pet sitting possibilities. I live in a pet friendly apartment on the 1st floor. The apartment is shared with my female close friend and is a very quiet, clean and calm space. Sleeping arrangements would be on the floor of my bedroom where I can set up a comfortable space. I am close to the river and lots of parks so there are many great walk/run locations to choose from.

I've always loved looking after other people's pets and have helped friends and family out countless times. When I was 12 years I started my own neighbourhood dog walking business because I didn't have a dog of my own at the time and I loved walking dogs. It was very successful and ran for 3 years until school became more serious.

I think your beloved pet and I would make great friends and I would do anything I can to make sure they are as happy as can be until they see you again!
