Hallo! Hello!

My name is Faith! I moved to Germany January 2019 for my Ph.D. and I am still learning German (ich Spreche ein bissien Deutsch aber, nicht so gut ist). I grew up with lots of pets, from dogs (Husky) to cats (Chelsea and Lion both passed away at 21) and even a parrot (Peter) back home - I miss them all. I have a craze for a lot of furry friends and I would hug and pet all the dogs I see on the streets if I could! I do not have a furry friend yet, so I would like to give all of my love and care to yours!

I am fortunate to have a very flexible schedule (I do my research from home most days), so I can take your dog on long walks or snuggle in with your cat while I get work done.

I live with my boyfriend in Mainz Oberstadt in an 80sqm flat. We have a balcony and right across the street is an extensive green area. There is also a big park 15mins away, so this means lots of space for fun times.

SERVICES OFFERED

HOUSE SITTING: I am happy to come over for an overnight house sit or a day stay while you are out. Overall walks will take around 40 mins -1hr and will be made every 4-5hrs depending on how long you need me to stay and the age of your pet.

For a 'full day' stay (at my home), I can spend up to 8 hours with your furry friend if need be. I want to be able to provide as much attention as possible.

DAY VISIT (at your home): This is just a quick check up on your pet and lasts about up to 2hours max (I'm usually flexible though). This is a short visit to get your furry friend some air, play time and perhaps food. Walks are about 40mins - 1 hour within this time.

Gassi-service (dog walking service) only offered max 20 mins from my home. It is just a potty break for your pet and lasts 30-50mins.

I never take on more than one dog at a time, except when they are from the same family/household. So if you book me, you can be sure all my attention would be on your dog(s) and yours only for that duration. I do not own a car, so I only accept bookings where the furry friend is brought to me, or you are max 30 mins away by public transport.

I have experience caring for deaf dogs, puppies from 3 months, and senior dogs over 10 years. I will keep you up to date with messages and pictures of our time together. Your pet's health and wellbeing are my priority, and I'm sure we will have a lot of fun!

PS: You might see a baby monkey in my photos! I spent 2 days caring for little Kiki while volunteering in Ghana. That was the highlight of my 2017 :)
