Hello Pet Owner,

I am a very responsible and mature animal lover. In the pictures, you can see my second dog Taos. Taos was a wonderful Siberian Husky. I took care of Taos for 13 years. I was the owner of Taos from 3 months old. Taos had a puppy under my care and I was fortunate enough to witness the birth. I gave Taos medication as Taos had epilepsy. I walked Taos every day at least twice. This experience, as well as the raising and caring for a beagle, schnauzer mix when I was younger, has made me a very experienced dog expert.

I'm experienced in dog training. I have also taught young children swimming in New York City. I feel one of my strongest attributes applies to both and that is patience. I believe you can get results with positive reinforcement. I never lose my temper and never use violence or aggressive, intimidating behavior. You can rest assured that your dog will be treated with care and compassion.

I am also experienced

with giving medication,

grooming, brushing teeth and caring for a dog before, during. and after pregnancy.

My last dog Taos had epilepsy, so I learned to care for the dog when it had seizures and how to administer medication and emergency treatment, also I cared for Taos when she was giving birth.

If there is a medical condition or emergency with your dog I am prepared.

So, in addition to making sure your dog is healthy, safe and looking good I offer another service.

I am a runner and I will run with your dog if you wish.

My last dog was very athletic, (as Huskies are)

and I found a good run was her favorite activity.

It helps to relax an energetic dog and I enjoy it as well.

I live very close to Hasenhiede Park in Nuekolln.

This is a great place to run and as well there is a large dog park.

It was a favorite of my last dog.

Another wonderful place

to walk or

run is by the canal which is a few blocks away.

There is nice pathway that dogs love.

I would typically walk a dog for at least half an hour.

Of course I would customize your dogs walk or run based on your suggestion.

I know I was always very careful about who took care of Taos when I was away.

Well, I am an artist and a drummer.

I work from home sometimes,

I have weekly flexible appointments at a local printmaking workshop, a music rehearsal space, and occasionally I play concerts or have exhibitions of my work.

This leaves me with a flexible schedule and the ability to choose my work times.

I am married and I live in a nice flat with my wife.

We have no children and sadly, Taos (my last dog) passed on a few years ago.

We have a small backyard area that is fenced in and a pet-safe home.

I do this because I love dogs.
