My name is João, I am a 31 year old artist from Portugal. Unquestionable animal lover (especially doggos). I've had pets throughout my whole childhood, besides all the dogs I had growing up, my grandfather would rescue animals in the fields and would bring them home for me to pet or restore their health until they were ready to face the wild again. I had buddies such as rabbits, wild hens, hedgehogs, owls, rats, chicken, and even a small duck who'd follow me everywhere.

I've lived in Berlin for 6,5 years. In that time I had a little girl that I adopted. She came to her new home incredibly scared and traumatised and together with my ex we managed to get her to a point where she felt protected, really loved and happy again being a normal silly dog. After two years she fell really sick because of her age and sadly died.

Now, 3 years after my heart got broken I have adopted a new buddy. His name is Loco. He is a 9month pointer mix that was found in Spain. He’s still a little iffy with some bigger male dogs so that’s why before making any commitment Loco would also have to meet your pet and we could see how they get along.

This is why also at the moment I can’t commit to long boarding sitting periods either at my place or yours cause I’m still not sure how Loco would act if left unattended with other buddies.

I still do home visits and dog walks. If Loco and your buddy don’t get along I can also leave him with a friend so I can dedicate my full attention to your buddy in shorter periods of time :)

I am a freelancer and therefore my schedule is rather flexible. If organised with a little time in advance I can provide sevaral walks per day (weekdays and some weekends) for as long as needed and even full days of care. For last minute requests I might only be able to offer up to 2 walks a day. But feel free to always ask.

Although I have a soft heart for doggos, I am very good at helping them understand the boundries so that they remain safe and they keep their brains active with games and training challenges.
