👋 Hi. I live in Neukölln with my partner, a dog named Ruby, and a cat named Milo.
The humans are both in our late 30s. The dog is 6, and the cat is 5.
We live on the ground floor and have a small garden in the back. Our garden is semi-enclosed and it sits in a larger back Hof that is completely enclosed. Even though the doors are always shut and there is no way out, the dog will never be left unattended in the garden.
I would be happy to take care of your dog when you are at work, busy, or out of town.
A typical day for us likes this:
- 6 to 8 am: wake up, breakfast, go quick potty in the backyard.
- sometime after 9:30am: longer walk depending on the weather. Sometimes we go for a round in the neighborhood, other times we make the 30-min trek to Tempelhofer Feld or to the dog park in Hasenheide.
- noon to afternoon: quiet time. I work, dogs sleep. Bathroom breaks in garden.
- 6pm: dinner!
- after dinner stroll in the neighborhood
- 10pm: quick potty in the backyard
Feeding times are pretty fixed for the animals that live here. Anything else we would be happy to adjust to your needs. Your dog will never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. And if you need us to pick up or drop off your dog, we would be happy to do it at an additional cost.
My partner and I both grew up with dogs, had our own dogs as adults who both died of old age in the last few years. We recently adopted Ruby from Romania, and have also fostered many dogs. All that is to say, we have a lot of experience taking care of dogs - from puppies to seniors.
