I would love to help you care for your furry family members when life gets hectic. 

I am a passionate animal lover and have grown up with dogs and a menagerie of animals my whole life. My shiba inu passed a few years ago after 12 years with me, and through him I had a crash course in the primitive breeds. Training him from a rescue dog at almost 2 years old was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life.

Previously I have had Vizlas, Weimaraners, Golden Retrievers, Chocolate Labs, all manner of cats, parakeets, horses (2 of my horses are currently enjoying retirement on our family farm), fish, etc. My family still have shiba inus to this day, and the local animal rescues call my parents whenever they get a shiba or shiba mix due to our experience with the breed. :)

I live in a two floor flat with my likewise experienced fiance Tobi and our well behaved 4.5 year old daughter (no really, we taught her from day one to respect animals' space, and she is very careful in all interractions - we get compliments regularly) in the trendy Holländische Viertel of Potsdam with a plethora of parks and walking activities all around. 

We have a LARGE pet safe roof top patio (fully fenced with security netting) with 3 meter umbrella for your pet friend to hang out on when at home with us, and plenty of nearby parks and green neighborhood streets for lots of long exercise walks or slow casual sniffing breaks depending on your dogs energy level. Senior dogs are always welcome! I do my best to match the energy level of the dog and whereever we go, your dog goes with. We won't leave your furry baby alone, one of us will always be there (we know this is especially important for those with separation anxiety). If your dog is especially social, they are also more than welcome to come with me into my Berlin office and play with my coworkers all day when I am not doing home office (which is 90% of the time).

I am a huge supporter of lots of frequent walking and mental stimulation for your furry friends (food or designated treats out of a treat ball, hidden treats, frequent fetch games, tug of war, etc). Due to my own shiba's very specialized diet needs when he was with us, we are able to confidently maintain whatever food and medicine regime you have in place. We have many dog toys and beds here available, but would always encourage you to bring your pet's favorite things that smell like home and will make them most comfortable. 

Our only requirements to dog sit for you is a list of emergency contacts to reach you and your standard veterinarian in the event something happens or we have any questions. We also have an extremely trustworthy vet (Dr. Harold in Caputh) within a few minutes by car from our flat or cargo bike who takes our calls 24/7 and can come to us directly - he lives nearby in Potsdam.
