Hi there! I'm Ruth, I'm 31 and living in Berlin for the past 4 years after travelling a little around south east Asia 🗺️
My beautiful dog Rosie passed away just over a year ago and I miss her hugely. She had a lot of complicated illnesses (eg. epilepsy) so I am very used to paying close attention to pets' behaviours and conditions, plus admistering all kinds of medications. I also nursed her for weeks when she broke her collarbone. She was our family's sweetheart and was enjoying some windy retirement out in the very west of Ireland.
I recently lost my job in tech and would love to use this spare time in a positive way. I live on my own in a 60sqm groundfloor duplex. The previous owners kept a cat here that absolutely loved exploring the space. It's permitted to keep small pets here, including dogs, so I have some freedom with pet sitting :)
I have pretty flexible availability due to this newfound free time and wouldn't be leaving a pet alone for any period of time. Super happy to create my schedule around pet-sitting for the foreseeable eg. can supervise a guest pet 24/7 if needed and if it doesn't clash with time away (end of June). I also WFH when I am employed, and have great flexibility in my lifestyle to mind pets in general.
More recently, I'm always minding or playing with friends' pets here in Berlin - hopefully being able to have my own in a few years 🤗 I am a calm, responsible, communicative and loving person who has a lot of experience looking after dogs and cats. Hopefully I am the right person to help you with yours!
Services I offer include dog/cat sitting, dog walking, dog/cat boarding. Can walk the dog as long as it needs to be walked, max 2-3 times per days. Maximum pets I will be responsible for at any one time is 2. Time spent during home visits is also super flexible, and I'm happy to collect mail, water plants, check security, etc.
