Hi! We are Eleni and Ruben.

+ We came from Paraguay 4 years ago with our 3 cats. It wasn't easy to bring them, but we did it because they are family, and you never leave your family behind

+ That is our core belief: kitties & dogs (and all pets) ARE family. We know how important is your little furry one to you, and how worried you can be when you have to leave them for a couple of days or more. We know, we get it, we`ve been there, too.

+ We have had kitties and dogs our whole life. We also started professional pet sitting here in Berlin since 2019, walking dogs, visiting cats, rabbits, and chinchillas.

+ We both work from home (Eleni is a writer. Ruben is a web developer) so our time is flexible, and even more so after 12pm (noon).

+ We offer Dog Walks (30-40 minutes), and Home Visits (30-40 minutes) in Pankow, Prenzlauer Berg, Weisensee, Mitte, Wedding. We can go to other districts, too, but we would like to know the location first before saying "yes". Feel free to contact us, and we can talk about it.

HOME VISITS

+ We have experience visiting cats, rabbits, and chinchillas. If you have another type of animal as a pet, just let us know. We can always learn to take care of a new pet ;)

+ We know how cats need extra care. So, before the service starts, we´d like to know everything about your kitties. Are they outdoors or indoor cats? Do they like strangers? Where should we look if they happen to hide from strangers so we can make sure they´re ok? Should we open the door slowly if we have a runner in the family? How do you feel about catnip? Will they understand if we speak Spanish to them? hehe. We can go to your place to feed them, play with them, clean their litter, and water your plants.

+ On medicine: We can also give them oral medicine if necessary. We usually mix the medicine with food or put it inside a treat. Since kitties only let their own humans put the pill directly into their mouths, we prefer not to do it this way for safety reasons (ours and the kitties´ own). We don't give injections.

+ On pets visits: we usually do 1x visits between 1pm and 7pm. When it comes to 2x visits, we try to make them within 6 hours of each other, with the first visit being between 9am and 12 pm, and the second between 3pm and 7pm.

+ When the location of the place is far away, and/or the number of floors is too high (3rd, 4th, 5th floors without elevators/lifts), we usually ask to do 1x long visit (up to 4 hours) instead of 2x visits, keeping the pet company. This is more knee-friendly for Eleni since she has osteoarthritis (artrose) in both knees.

+ If you only need 1x visits, and your flat is from the third floor with no elevator/lift, no worries, we still can do it.

+ We´ll be sure to send you pics of your pet, so you always know where they are, and how they´re doing.

DOG WALKS

+ For dog walks: for short term bookings (up to 30 days); we can adapt to the schedule you set for the walk. However, for long-term bookings, when you need us on a more permanent basis, we prefer to set the walks from 1pm to 7pm (even 8pm on Summer).

+ Also, for long-term bookings, the flat should be up to the second floor (if there's no elevator/lift), or we can meet at the entrance. This is again due to Eleni´s osteoarthritis (artrose) in both knees.

+ For safety reasons, we normally don't walk large dogs that are not trained, have behavioural issues (reactive towards other dogs, cars, people), and/or are very stressed/scared outside their homes.
