Hallo!

Ich bin Fucsia, eine Physik Studentin aus Italien, und ich liebe Katzen. Ich würde mich sehr freuen wenn ich eure Katzen besuchen könnte, um zusammen zu spielen oder nur den glücklich zu streicheln, nach ich den gefüttert habe und Katzenklo gereinigt habe.

Ich kann Deutsch schprechen (eigentlich geht es mündlich besser als schriftlich), aber hier folgt meine detallierte Beschreibung auf Englisch:

Hello!

My name is Fucsia, I am a student from Italy and work in Berlin as a physicist.

I had to leave my two lovely - and now elderly - cats to my family in Italy, and I miss the company of felines a lot. I therefore visit other people's homes to help with food and litter when they are away, but also to pet their furry friends, cuddle and play with them. I do cat sitting as a hobby and my motivation is love for cats.

I usually visit the cats I take care of for about half an hour: after giving them food along the owners' guidelines and cleaning the litter box, I spend some time with the cats. Some are more friendly and like to be pet and cuddled, others may prefer playing. Depending on the cat personality and mood of the day, I can spend more time with them (or rarely less, if I get that they are not enjoying my company on that day). With the permission of the owners, I would also take pictures of the cat and send them real-time information.

I will of course clean any misplaced pee/poo/vomit. I can administer oral medication, if needed. I have also experience with subcutaneous injections (but not intramuscular), but we would have to discuss it in our first meeting. Cutting their nails is also no problem for me, if you have the right tool.

I have learned that it is not the same as having my own cats, but I still enjoy my time getting to know other cats. Some like me a lot, some accept me and some just want their food. Every cat has its own personality and it is always a new experience.

I have been following 7 cats in Berlin until now and I have been taking care of them over the past three years. My experience is therefore of 20+ years with my own two cats and of about 3 years with cat-sitting, and I hope it will still continue for many years.
