Ich und meine Frau Linda möchten gerne neue Tierfreundschaften schließen sowie Ihnen helfen, wenn Sie die Zeit, Kraft, oder usw. nicht haben, auf Ihr Haustier aufzupassen und die Lücken mit Liebe füllen.

NUR ALS HINWEIS: Bitte beachten Sie, dass ich nur in Ausnahmefällen zu Ihnen außerhalb von Leipzig fahren werde.

Als Junge hatte ich einen Labrador/Schäferhund (wir glauben) gemischten Hund, der Smokey hieß. Er war eigentlich nicht so klug, aber ganz lieb, wenn er keine Angst mehr vor einem hatte. Meine Frau hat auch Erfahrung mit Hunden - ihre Stiefmutter hatte eine Hündin die Sandy hieß, und jetzt eine Rettungshündin oder Rumänien, die Sita heißt. Früher hatte Sita sehr große Angst vor Fremden und besonders fremden Männern, aber jetzt ist es viel, viel besser. Unsere Alane haben wir als Kätzchen in den Vereinigten Staaten adoptiert, und Simba haben wir 2016 von einer Frau hier aus Leipzig adoptiert, die ihn nicht mehr behalten konnte. Alane ist klein, ein bisschen schwach, und sehr lieb. Sie lässt uns ihre Krallen schneiden und ist normalerweise sehr neugierig. Sie ist völlig harmlos. Man sieht vielleicht auch Bilder von mir mit einem schwarzen Kater. Das ist unser Simba, der leider im Juli 2020 gestorben ist. Wir vermissen ihn sehr, und wünschten uns, dass wir einfach mehr Zeit mit ihm gehabt hätten. Du warst spitze, Simba, einfach der Beste! I love you little man, I couldn't have asked for a better cat than you. You will be missed terribly.

I'm actually from the USA and my German's full of holes, so if there are mistakes in the preceding paragraphs, that would be why. Linda and I would certainly like to adopt a dog, but even now that one of our cats has passed away, we just don't don't think we have the space, especially since the other cat (Alane) is mildly territorial. But, with a little luck, Pawshake allows me to make new furry friends all the time! My experience with dogs is somewhat limited, but when I lived in the US, I lived in the same town as my aunt Bridget, and she would ask me to watch her huskies, Asha and Sam, and later her rescue Bo, as well as water the plants. Her Huskies were well trained and already into their twilight years by the time I moved to that town, so it's fair to say that my experience with large dogs that need a firm hand is limited (I also took care of, via Pawshake, a couple of somewhat poorly-trained and very large Retrievers a couple summers ago and that went well), but I'd be more than happy to gain experience in this area. Bo's just a medium sized mystery mix, and also pretty well-trained. Oh! Also, my wife had guinea pigs and rabbits as a young girl, so she knows all about that, and when we were first married (and had little money but still wanted a little friend) we got two hamsters, Grizzly and Priscilla, so we have experience with those animals as well. Since starting Pawshake, I've taken care of a number of dogs (mostly smallish) a number of cats, and even a few bunny rabbits! Alright! I look forward to making friends with your little furry (or not?) loved ones!
