Johanna

Hello, my name is Johanna. I originally come from Finland but I am now based in Berlin. I'd prefer to communicate either in Swedish or English, but a broken German works too.

Growing up in the forest has planted a deep love for nature and outside activities in me.

Sadly my full-time job requires a computer and a desk, so when I have time I prefer spending my free time breathing fresh air.

I have recently discovered rock climbing outside, which I absolutely enjoy. But as I live in Berlin, I have to default to bouldering. When I am not exercising, I love baking, spending time with my friends, reading and I don't think I've been without a daily podcast episode in ages.

The reason I have signed up on Pawshake is unfortunately a little bit sad. My dog of 6 years is not with me anymore, and my day to day life feels a bit dull without a fluffy friend. Would love to take care of someone's beloved friend whenever they can't. I'd take your dog for park walks during the day, as I live next to a big park with a little pond (Bose park) and on the weekends we could go to bigger parks/forests for adventures. If your dog is used to running with you, I could also take them out for an evening run.

As my day to day job is located at home my schedule is rather flexible. I am working as head of design for a startup, if you're interested I can tell you more about myself when we meet.

Because I am working from home, your dog would be with me all the time. I wouldn't leave the dog alone during their stay with me.

My apartment is mid-size 62sqm with a balcony where you can hang around. The dog is allowed to go anywhere in the flat, even in the bed if they are used to that. We can talk about what rules you have for your dog so I know what's allowed and not. As my flat is not too big, I prefer smaller/medium dogs instead of bigger ones. Preferable also just one dog at the time as there is not enough space for playing around inside.

It will mostly just be me and the dog, but from time to time my partner is also at my flat, he's also an animal person, so it will be double attention for your dog.
