About Anastasiia
Hello, fellow pet parents!
I’m Anastasiia, a 29-year-old pet enthusiast from Ukraine, now living in Berlin. I’m a full-time dancer, but my love for animals has been a constant throughout my life. From hamsters to horses, I’ve cared for all kinds of pets. I have extensive experience and a true passion for animals.
For several years, I was a professional equestrian, I had a German Shepherd and a cat ^^, and although I don't currently have pets of my own, I always find ways to stay close to nature.
If you're looking for someone to walk your dog or care for your pet, I’m your person! Ideally, I prefer to work within a 15-minute radius of my home (Falckensteinstraße 4), but I’m happy to discuss other arrangements.I
🐕🦺 For DOG owners: select an appropriate amount of dog walks additionally to dog boarding, day care or pet sitting. Unfortunately there's no way so far to separate those services for other animals, who doesn't require walks (it's not the same risks and active time, for example, with cats and dogs who needs walks three times a day). Thank you for your understanding :)
I would be delighted to care for your pet at my home, where they’ll receive plenty of attention and never feel lonely.
Would you prefer your cat or dog not to have the stress of moving when you are away for a long time? I can come to you and provide all the necessary support and cuddles and do other small errands - for example, trimming their claws or watering the flowers :)
I have a calming presence with both animals and people, and I’m sure your pet will feel at ease with me.
Over the last year, I’ve been studying the Trust Technique by James French, and I’m considering making it a professional path. If you’re interested, I’d love to work with your pet to gain more experience. If your animal has behavioral challenges, I’m happy to focus on specific areas and help create positive change.
The Trust Technique is all about connecting with your animal through calm and mindfulness. By reducing overthinking, we create a peaceful, trusting bond, which leads to better cooperation and communication. It's a gentle, authentic approach to understanding animal behavior and building a strong relationship based on kindness.
I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! Feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss how I can help <3
Here is some additional information for you in interview format:
1. Can you give medication to pets? - Yes. Depending on how much mutual trust we share with an animal. Keep in mind that building trust takes time.
2. Can you offer training? - I don't do that.
3. How many dogs can you care for at a time? - 2 dogs, depending on the dogs.
4. How long are dog walks? - 30-60 minutes.
5. How many dog walks do you offer per day? - Depending on how many are needed.
6. How much time can you spend with pets? According to the service rules pets should never be left alone for more than 3 hours during dog care and 1 hour during daycare. - If I have an animal handed over to me, I am always available for it.
7. How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly routine? What about your availability? Do you work from home or do you have to leave the house to go to work? - I don't work. I do what I want, and I'm free most of the time. If I don't take pets to sit - It's because I go dancing!
8. Can you look after guest animals 24/7? What does your home look like? - Yes, I love being at home. I have enough space: 4 rooms.
9. Who else lives in your home? Are there any family members, roommates or pets in the house? - I live alone.
10. Where can guest animals sleep? - I have big chairs dogs love to sleep on, but you are very welcome to bring their sleeping nest as well, as I have plenty of space.
11. If you have a garden, what is it like? Is it completely fenced? Is the gate well secured? - I have a courtyard protected by a gate and a lock. But there is little sun there. I have access to the roof of the house (terrace), when it is warm I can walk there with the animal on a leash :)
