Hi! My name is Rachel and I've recently moved to Hamburg after living in Frankfurt the last 3 years. My university degree is in Animal Sciences, and I've had a dog all of my adult life. My late dog, a sweet old Shetland Sheepdog named Brady, moved to Germany with us from the US.
After Brady was diagnosed with kidney disease, I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs with special needs, including both oral and subcutaneous medicine administration. Now, with our 2 year old Eurasier, Teddy, we've relearned all the fun and play of having a puppy again. If our dogs get along and it's OK with you, Teddy would be happy to accompany your dog on our walks - otherwise I'm happy to spend one on one time with your dog too. He loves and is very interested in other dogs and cats.
Our dogs have never been just pets for us, and I will treat your dog with the same love and affection I treat my own. I'm in a lucky position to be able to spend my days walking dogs or pet-sitting.
Unfortunately, my German is not great (B1) but my husband is happy to be a liaison if language is a barrier. I look forward to hearing from you!

Bruno had lots of fun with Teddy.
Rachel and her husband were so welcoming and kind. Their dog Teddy is so nice and patient. Bruno had a great time playing with him.
Getting photo updates during the stay we didn’t have to worry about anything. Looking forward to next time!
