My 5th birthday gift was a puppy and I haven't been living without a dog since. My family has always had a Pekingese and i have to admit, it's a unique breed with its own character.
Now that I moved to Berlin, my dog is at my parents abroad, and I really miss spending time with him.
Whenever I am away, travelling or living in another country for a period of time, I seek opportunities to volunteer in shelters, walk dogs, go to a cat café to work on my laptop.
I catsat my friend's cat on a few occassions and I also look after my family's dog, taking him to the groomer and walking 3 times a day when they were on vacation.
