Hi there! My name is Lucy, and I am currently a graduate student looking for jobs so I have quite a lot of time to cuddle with doggos at home or go for a walk outside.

I started doing dog sitting while I was studying my bachelors in London back in 2019 because I LOOOOVE animals. My family adopted a border collie back home in China who was rescued from an illegal dog market where they traded dogs for meat. It's been a challenging yet rewarding experience rebuilding trust between the doggo and people. I would donate 15% of my monthly earnings from Pawshake to the animal rescue and adoption platform that I volunteer with back in my city in China. There, a lot of cats and dogs are abandoned or thrown out by breeders because the animals are sick or not ‘pretty’ enough. If you’d like to adopt a fluffy friend from China, please contact me too! Besides, I really just love animals of all sorts. I have had bunnies who were purchased from a meat farm, and I have also kept tropical fish and Siamese betta fish. I really do miss my animal friends a lot since I’m away from home. Hence, I’d like to be a pet sitter.

I have taken care of a number of doggos when I was studying in London and Berlin previously (once with three puppies at mine! soo cute but they can be quite a handful ngl 😅) and received many kind words from the pet owners! I’m also good at taking photos of animals 🤗 So while your doggo spends time with me, you’ll definitely receive a lot of nice videos and photos of him/her 📷

I am kind, patient, easy-going, and detail-oriented. Therefore, I believe that I am able to take great care of your pet when you are not available for him/her. I am also a quiet and tidy person as well, so the apartment will be perfect for your pet to rest too :)

In terms of my location, I live in a bright flat with a lot of green areas nearby, so I can take doggos for walks regularly. I am also trustworthy, reliable, and honest. If there is anything about your pet that I am uncertain about, I will ask you, the dog parent, for advice. I believe that both my personality and location are perfect to be a pet sitter, and I hope you choose me to sit your pets!
