Since moving to Germany three years ago, I’ve found myself yearning for more animal interaction. I miss my dog, Holly, a rescued Dachshund/Spaniel mix back home in South Africa, more than words can express. There's something incredibly special about the bond we share with animals—the way a simple look can brighten your day, or how a cuddle can bring unparalleled comfort. One of my favorite moments with Holly was asking her, "Do you want to go for a walk?" The pure joy and excitement in her response was something I looked forward to every single day.

I come from a family deeply rooted in the animal care industry. My father is a veterinarian, and my mother works in the pet industry. Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals, and I spent many weekends helping at my dad’s veterinary clinic. During summer holidays, I worked for him, gaining experience both in the clinic and in veterinary sales.

In South Africa, I had the pleasure of dog walking and pet sitting, and since moving to Germany, I’ve continued to care for animals by doing house visits for friends’ cats in the area. I am passionate about animals and would love the opportunity to bring joy to your furry friend by providing them with the attention, exercise, and care they deserve.
