Hi 👋 my name is Sarah. I'm an American cat-owner who has lived abroad for over 8 years. I adopted my cat when she was 1, moved to South Korea with her when she was 4, and moved to Berlin with her last summer after she turned 12. My cat is my life, and she's been my only family while living abroad. If you know how hard it is to travel internationally with animals, then you'll know how much time, love, and care I have for her. So I feel quite educated on cats and taking care of them. My cat also isn't much of a lap cat and doesn't like to be held or picked up for long periods of time unless it's on her own terms, so I know how difficult and picky some cats can be. I have a lot of patience and try my best to respect their boundaries while still enforcing rules and taking care of their needs.
Although, I'm new to pet-sitting I'm passionate about animals and truly love them (exotic too). I know you can't be home 24/7 and need help time to time, taking care of your precious fur-babies. I want to be a person others can rely on and I want to offer my services.
I'm also a very clean and organized person with attention to detail, and am able to follow detailed instructions. I was a pet-mom to a ferret and a rabbit before I adopted my cat. I loved them dearly. I also grew up with dogs and birds (my dad had cockatiels my whole life and now has a Cockatoo), and I was around many exotic animals growing up because of my friends and family (horses, snakes, turtles, hamsters, tarantulas, & fish).
If you are looking for a dog walker or someone to come to your home and feed, play, and take loving care of your pet, I hope you'll consider hiring me.
