About Jennifer & Yannick

We're Jenny and Yannick, an enthusiastic dog-loving couple ready to bring joy and comfort to your furry friends! We live close by to large green spaces (Hasenheide Park and Templehofer Feld), and are flexible in our work schedules to be able to take them for walks and provide round-the-clock care and attention. We will ensure that each dog under our care feels right at home.

Yannick grew up with a dog and so has many years experience caring for a canine-friend, and we have been looking after several friends and family's dogs together.

Jenny also had a house cat in her early 20's who was slowly integrated into an outdoor cat, and so has experience with both types.

We look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry family members, providing them with the love and attention they deserve. We'll make their time away from you as enjoyable and stress-free as possible!

Additional details and expectations:

  • We would have 1 pet at a time, to ensure that we can give them our full attention

  • As we are a couple, we can also ensure that one person is with the pet at all times. Note: From Feb-May, Jenny has a course to attend between 08:30-12:45 and so if we arrange for an overnight stay where pick-up/drop-off is within those those times, it will solely be Yannick as the carer as he works fully remote at home.

  • We are flexible in adapting to your dog's walking schedule, but what we have previously done is ~30 mins in the morning, 1-2 hours in the afternoon, 30-60 mins in the early evening, and one short toilet break before bed.

  • We can administer oral medication to your pet (have previous experience in this) 

  • We live on the 3rd floor in the backhouse with no elevator, and have carried smaller dogs up the stairs when needed

  • We have a joint living-room and kitchen area, where your pet is welcome to run around in and chill on the sofa

  • For overnight stays, we expect their favourite toys, food, and dog bed / blanket to be provided and we're happy to have their bed in the bedroom
