About Juliana
Hello, nice to meet you!
My name is Juliana, I'm Brazilian, 34 years old. Unfortunately, I don't speak German.
ABOUT MY EXPERIENCES WITH DOGS:
In 1999 my parents bought Jully, a beautiful white Lhasa Apso. When she was 3 years old, she got pregnant and had Thob. My parents and I had the pleasure of having Jully with us until 2014 and Thob until 2018, when we unfortunately lost them for cancer :(
After we lost both of them, we had the time to grieve and then a year later, in 2019, (when I was still living with my parents) we talked about adopting a dog. That's how Noah, our wonderful pitbull arrived in the family.
Few months later that Noah was adopted, we decided adopting a sister to him, so we went to the same NGO and we adopted Kyra, also our lady lovely pitbull.
With Noah and Kyra I was able to learn how to deal with dogs that were rescued and that still have many traumas. Both, sadly, were rescued from bad treatment.
WHY I DECIDED TO TAKE CARE OF DOGS:
As I lived with dogs for more than 20 years, living here in Germany alone has not been emotionally easy. At the same time, I still cannot adopt a doggie since I'm still building my life abroad.
Due to these reasons, I decide to be a dog sitter so that I can offer my love and care to the doggies who need to stay with someone while the parents are away at the same time that I can enjoy time with them.
HOW I WORK:
- Before the first reservation: We'll arrange a day for you and your dogguie to come to my house. Why? Because I believe it's important for the dog to know the space where he/she will stay later (and to do this for the first time next to his/her owner which will make he/she more confident during the boarding time). So when he/she stays with me, neither my person nor my house will be unknown to him/her. I also think it's important for the owner to see where I live and to know how my neighborhood is before deciding whether to book or not
- When the dogguie goes with me, the owner can make a list/letter telling me the hours the dog is used to eat and walk so I can keep a part of his/her routine
- If your dogguie takes medication, has any diet restrictions and/or doesn't like other dogs/people, please let me know when you drop him/her off with me
- Due to my apartment doesn't provide soundproofing, I cannot take care of dogs that bark a lot.
Obviously if they bark when they want to play or to eat, that's totally fine. They also have the right to talk a little (hahaha)
- During the period that I stay with your dogguie, you will receive videos and photos daily. You, even far away, will know in real time how your angel is being taken care
- IMPORTANT: bring his/her stuff when you drop him/her off at my house (such as bed, food, toys and medicine). I also ask you to share with me the contact of the vet and to show me where the chip is located on the dog's body (just in case something unexpected happens). If the dog does not have a chip, please, I ask you to bring his/her document, for example the passport.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Questions are always welcome!
I will be very happy to take care of your dogguie! :)
