Garling

Hello!

I have looked after many pets over the years and would love to care for your pet too. My name is Garling and I grew up on a bit of a farm of animals that included 2 dogs, 3 cats, rabbits, birds, turtles and chickens. I’m originally from New Zealand and have always enjoyed being outdoors and caring for animals of all kind.

Most recently I helped to look after a small Dachshund/Pomeranian puppy for 3 months while I was living in Edinburgh. In that situation I gained experience in caring for a dog in a small apartment and understanding the need for lots of outdoor activity and walking time. When inside however there was plenty of moments for cuddles and relaxing. It didn't take long before she was eagerly waiting for me to come home, ready for lots of play. Since moving I have really missed living with a dog!

As a pet sitter I am an all-round easy going person, however I also like to make sure that I am attentive and responsible to you and your pet’s needs. If you have specific requirements or wishes for how to care for your pet I am more than happy to listen. Currently I am working from home so I am able to give full watch over to your pet, and be flexible in pet sitting days and times.

My apartment is on the ground floor with concrete floors. The apartment is shared with one other guest and your pet will be able to stay in either one of the two large rooms that my partner and I have. One room is used as an artist studio and can be used for plenty of games and running around. If your pet stays over I can either set them up in the empty room or they can sleep in my room – I don't mind them being in the bed either. If your pet is boarding I can give them my full attention as I will be home throughout the day. Dog walking includes 30 mins and I can offer up to 3 walks a day.
