Animals have been a big part of my live ever since I was young. Growing up in New Zealand has taught me to appreciate animals and love the outdoors. 

I've grown up with many cats, dogs and chickens! At a young age I taught our family dog many tricks such as the ability to wait for food, walk beside me with no leash in a busy street and understand basic sign language to sit, lay down and stay. 

My motivation to become a pet sitter for your animal(s) is that I simply miss my animals back home so much. 

My recent sitting experience was 3 months long for 2 cats in Berlin when I first moved here for my new job. It was such a rewarding experience, being trusted to look after a families loving animals whilst they were away. 

My favourite sitting experience was for an amazing dog, husky/German shepherd mix, for a month in the French Alpes. He stayed in our apartment, we went on mountain walks everyday - morning and night. Over the month we bonded on the love for routine and he knew exactly when it was time to head out. 

To give you a peace of mind:

- I'm happy to give your animal medication if required - my recent experience in this is with one of my cats at home which had diabetes. I had to give her insulin injections 2x a day. 

- I will walk and care for your dog and/or cat as much as it requires. Long (>1 hour) or short walks (20-30mins) depending on your recommendation and animal capabilities. I will send you photos on our walks so you can see where we go :)

- I'm happy to have 1+ dog to look after. But if you'd prefer your dog to be the only dog in the house, I will ensure that is the case and send you frequent updates throughout the day of how they are.

- My apartment is >80m2 with a 12m2 balcony on the first floor. We live next to the park and lake, it is very safe for dogs. The apartment building is within a gated complex with a community garden space. There are other dogs in the building that play together outside. You can tell me if you would like me to socialise your dog or not. My partner and I live alone, we do not have any pets living in the apartment with us.

- Rest time: if you have a special bed that your dog or cat prefers to sleep in, I'd be happy to have that for the day so they are comfortable. I will always have full clean water bowls available. If you want me to feed your animal, please tell me how much and when. I'm happy to do that.

- Daily routine: I try and get outside at least 2 times a day - for a walk or run. Sometimes 3 times! So your dog can come with me. I will take your dog outside to the community garden 4-5 times a day, or as many or less times are you would recommend. I will ensure your dog is happy and healthy when they stays. 

- Availability: only possible when I am working from home which is 2-3 times a week. Please check my availability on the calendar function. When your dog or cat stays with me, I will always be at home to ensure they are happy and safe.
