Hello! :)

I’m Deniz, a 29-year-old designer and artist with a lifelong love for animals. I grew up in the United States with both a cat and a dog, and first began pet sitting during high school. Over the past 15 years, I’ve gained plenty of experience caring for animals, including living with my close friend and her dog, Lucy—a sweet German Pointer mix you’ll see in many of my photos!

For the past year in Berlin, I’ve been pet sitting for friends and friends of friends, looking after a variety of dogs and cats. It’s been an amazing experience. Since I work remotely, I’m able to spend lots of time with the pets I care for, making sure they get all the attention and love they need throughout the day—whether it’s playtime, long walks, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I’m reliable, easygoing, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs, so you can feel confident leaving your furry friends in good hands.

I live in a spacious 75m² apartment with my best friend from university, who’s also a dog lover. Our home is near several parks and has a shared courtyard (hof), inside our flat we have plenty of cozy spots inside for your pet to relax. Your pet is welcome to sleep on our furniture or bring their own bed, whichever makes them feel most at home. On sunny days, I enjoy working outdoors at pet-friendly cafés, so your dog can get fresh air and spend time with me. Schiller Park is just a minute’s walk away, and I often go there or to Humboldthain for walks with the dogs I care for. If you prefer, I can also take your dog to the nearby dog park for extra playtime.

When boarding pets, I only take one pet at a time or multiple pets from the same household. This way, they feel safe and comfortable without any added stress. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I make sure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and affection during their stay.
