Dear pet parents,

My name is Peggy, from Hong Kong, I have been pet-stting since 2019. I work from home, and I could flexibly pet sit your dogs/cats most of the time during the day. I enjoy walking dogs and playing with cats during my coffee break. I have patience and experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I am a flexible, detail-minded, and responsible person who is eager to take care of babies and pets, I have also 1 year of experience babysitting in Berlin. Taking care of pets is very similar to taking care of a baby, which requires a sense of responsibility, care, time, energy, attention, and patience. For me, pet-sitting is about making sure the pets are happy, safe, and healthy.

My experience with dogs:

- Age range from 4 months old young puppy to 16 years old senior dog

-Small dogs: Chihuahua, Dachshund, Havanese, Toy Poodle, French Bulldog, Yorkies, etc

-Medium size dogs: Schnauzer, Beagle, etc.

-Large dogs: Laborador, Golden Retriever, Chow Chow, Husky, etc. 

-Medication need: I can handle oral medication, eye drops, ear drops, seizures, and sickness (e.g. injured, diarrhea) of the dogs.

 
My experience with cats:

-Age range from young kitties (7 months old) to senior cats (20 years old)

-Medication needs and recovery care: cats after surgery, oral medication, checking their wounds, and the recovery progress. 

I would advise cat owners to set up a cat-proof home environment (e.g. safety net on the balcony) for the safety of the fur babies. From my experience, some cats do not like drinking water, I will supervise the cats to drink water during their meal to prevent dehydration.

Service: 

Home visit for cats: I scoop the litter box, refill fresh water on the fountain or bowl, clean the bowl regularly, feed wet/dry food, cuddle, and play with your cats. 

Dog walking: each walking session is 30 min depending on the need of your dogs and the weather. From my experience, small dogs need 3-4 walks per day, and medium size and large dogs need 2-3 walks per day.

House-sitting: I come to stay at your home overnight to take care of your dog/cat when you are on vacation/trip (an additional EUR 10 is charged per night for an additional pet).

Dog Boarding: I live in a 2-rooms apartment in Wedding nearby Nauener Platz U9, there is enough space for 2 small dogs/ medium size dogs or 1 large dog, I host only dogs that are house trained, castrated, neutered , friendly with people and other dogs.

There is a small park just behind my building, it is very practical for walking dog during the day, there is a good vet for emergency sickness just 10 minutes walking distance from my home .

Staying comfortable and safely at my home is my responsibility, my home is tidy, clean, well-organised, well equipped with some basic dogs' need (bowls, dog cushion, blanket, shampoo, towels, toys, massage glove, cooling mat and ventilator for summer time), pet owners are advised to bring their fur babies' foods, supplement, leash, poo bag, favorite toy & blanket and vaccination passport (In case of a vet visit in emergency).

Dog Day care: I spend most of my time working from home, I can provide dog day care service if you need to go out during the day and drop the dog at my home. I can take care of them from the morning until evening, if they need to stay overnight, a night of dog boarding is needed.

Remark: I cannot offer pet transport, and my flat is on the 3rd floor without elevator, I can only lift small dogs that cannot walk on stairs (up to 10 kg) going up and down for walking.

Emergency:

In case of any emergency accident, I will notify the pet owner first, I am able to bring your dogs/cats to the vet (I would suggest the pet owners always prepare all the documents, pet passport, vaccination record, emergency contact in advance before you hand over the dogs/cats to me). The vet consultation fee, medical fee, and transportation expense will be undertaken by the pet owner.

Extra:

On top of pet sitting, some help with household such as watering the plants, checking the mailbox, receiving the parcel, taking off your laundry from the balcony during the rainy days, bringing trash, opening the windows for some daily air circulation at home, and opening the door for home visits (e.g. technician's appointments) is possible (No extra charge, but please let me know in advance). I will send you a daily update of your fur babies pictures and videos.

If you like my profile and need my help, we can schedule our meet and greet session first to further understand each other (e.g. Your fur babies' dining habits, sleeping habits, favorite games and toys, behavior issue, anxiety, medical need, and any preference, etc) before a booking is made. For dog walking/cat visits, I would prefer within the Wedding /Mitte area; for house-sitting, I would prefer within the Berlin Ringbahn area (it is negotiable).
