Hello! I'm Jo, a 31-year-old and have been working in ESG reporting before being laid off. Now that I have more free time on my hands, I want to make use of it by channelling it into meaningful activities - one of which is spending time with animals and hopefully supporting fellow pet parents. My cat’s name is Kimchi, she’s almost 7 years old and (one of) the most spoiled, chatty, playful and cuddly cat.

In terms of home visits - since I have a lot of free time, I am flexible in terms of travelling and time spent. I am willing to travel within a 1h commute and spend a couple of hours a day with the pet (I can bring a book and just keep them company). My services include feeding, replacing the bowl of water, playing with the cat or simply keeping them company. I can also water plants or check the mail if needed.

In terms of house-sitting - Since I have flatmates to also look after my cat, I am flexible regarding the time spent house-sitting. As I am now mostly looking for jobs or doing courses, I am often at home and available.

My experience with pets extends to taking care of friends' cats as well, either at my place or mine - I love to play with them or simply keep them company. I’m aware that cats have different personalities and sometimes openness to interact with strangers, so I’m always respectful of their space and adapt to their need for interaction. While growing up, we had birds, a rabbit and hamsters, therefore I can take care of small animals as well.
