Brianna

Hi there! I'm Brianna from Wicklow, Ireland. I'm 25 and have just graduated from a joint degree in fine art and teaching art. I'm taking a study break before commencing a master's degree in art therapy here, in Berlin.

Myself and my boyfriend moved to Berlin in March to experience a new life together while he persues his career in Michelin star kitchens. We have settled in our hinterhof ground floor apartment in Mitte and are excited to have our own pet someday but not just yet!

I grew up in a country house in the mountains surrounded by farm animals and wildlife which made me very used to having them around.
I also grew up with all kinds of pets in the house that really taught me to take care of living things. We've had many fish, five hamsters, three cats and two dogs in all the time that I've lived there!
My brother owns a beautiful big deerhound who I would regularly look after in his absence and even sneak out for a walk in the mountains or just down the road whenever I could.

I have experience cat sitting in people homes for long periods of time and looking after ill cats that need medicine. I'm also very aware that pets who are missing their owners need all the comfort and reassurance that they are safe and loved!

I also have experience working on an animal rescue farm in Tenerife, tending to the horses while playing and cuddling all the animals aswell! Each morning I would clean out the stables of 6 horses and just hang out with them. I really got to know them and really enjoyed working there.

Overall, animals are a huge part of my life and I'm at a point that I can actually dedicate time to them now that I've finished my studies. Me and my partner are very easy going and both feel very passionate about getting our own pet someday but better to settle into a new country first!
