I'm Nelly, an expat in lovely Düsseldorf. I work remotely as a content writer and editor, allowing me the flexibility for pet and house sitting. Growing up surrounded by wonderful cats and dogs, I'm a dedicated animal lover and a vegetarian.

Since transitioning to remote work, I've had the joy of pet sitting for both cats and dogs across the Netherlands and Germany. While my travel prevents me from having a pet of my own, it creates a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your furry companions. I cherish both dogs and cats, believing they bring an unparalleled joy to life.

In terms of services, I offer dog walks ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour, catering to your preferences. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. Pet sitting options include day visits, stayovers at the owner's home, or at my apartment. Occasionally, I'm open to pet sitting in other towns.

During my care, I keep you updated with regular messages, multiple photos, and videos to ensure your pet is happy and well cared for. Each visit lasts between 40-60 minutes, or longer if needed. I'm also happy to assist with plant care, handling mail and packages, and coordinating with cleaners or handymen.

Due to my schedule, I prefer requests made not more than 1 month in advance, so last-minute requests are always welcome! :)

* Special rates may apply for cats (case by case): 10% discount for housesitting, 50% discount on boarding. Additional visit discounts may apply for very low-maintenance cats. 

* When submitting a request, kindly provide your address for day visits or dog walking, and for boarding and daycare, specify exact drop-off and pick-up times.

* For house sitting with big dogs, there's an additional 15 EUR charge per night for an extra pet.

* Standby will be treated as a regular booking.

* Please familiarize yourself with the cancellation policy.

* Prices may vary for special services not listed on the website, such as "babysitting" dogs at the owner's house or extended doggy daycare.

* Doggy daycare spans 7 hours (extra payment for longer hours), while boarding covers 24 hours.

* Regarding boarding, I only accept mature pets that don't damage furniture or belongings and don't require 24/7 care to maintain my regular schedule. In other cases, additional costs may apply.
