Hazel

Hello, my name is Hazel! I love being outside and love all animals,however I have a special place in my heart for dogs and horses. I have been walking dogs and petsitting for over 5 years. I grew up with dogs and helped take care of them at home.Also, I worked as a petsitter for a jack russell and labrador while going to college. My duties were feeding, walking,playing and caring for the dogs during owners' absences

I lived on a farm (Greyton Animal Farm) for two months doing volunteer work where I helped by feeding ,administering medication and taking care of dogs, pigs,sheep and other animals! I also helped with keeping kennels, play yards and food preparation areas neat and clean.

I was a registered volunteer with an Animal rescue service in Cape Town( Fallen Angels Pet rescue) for over 2 years helping with taking dogs for walks on weekends. My volunteer work with African Tails helped raise donation and funds for food and medication for the dogs by selling merchandise at local weekend markets and speaking with potential families who were interested in adopting dogs.I enjoy being around dogs and have spent most of my free time doing volunteer work with animal shelters. I have a calm and compassionate personality and have earned the acceptance of anxious dogs.

I enjoy all kinds of walks, from short walks in the park or around the neighbourhood to lengthy hikes in the woods. I'm pretty flexible, so if your dog has any special needs, just let me know.
