Hi, I am Mireia, an Illustrator and designer who loves nature and animals.
Experienced as a dog sitter trough this app, with the family dog, my aunt's and as a volunteer in the Bcn's dog shelter.
ON-BOARD STAY
My partner and I live in a nice 65m2 apartment with a balcony in Kreuzberg. The flat is very bright, on a 5th floor, with an elevator and a fanced garden on the ground-floor. There are several green areas around, as well as a river promenade.
The dog boarding has a maximum of 1 dog at a time so that he/she feels more comfortable and can get better care.
Because I work remotely, I can offer full attention. My schedule is flexible so I can adapt myself to their daily needs and routines. Your dog won't be left alone, and will come along if I go somewhere.
MEET & GREET
We usually meet up in our apartment some days before the on-board stay, so we can meet each other and your dog can smell around. It helps them a lot to get to know the place with you before the actual drop off, he/she will know it's a safe place and that you know where to pick him up :)
MINIMUM STAY
I am currently hosting new pets for a minimum of 2 nights. It's easier for them to get used to the space and feel cozy.
WALKS
Getting to know a dog is like getting to know a person: they all have their ways and special preferences. Also, each of them require different care and that's why the amount and length of the walks are going to be tailored to your furry friend's needs. Usually I walk them 3 to 4 times: 1 or 2 short + 2 long walks but let me know what works best for your pet.
COMMUNICATION
You will get pictures and updates throughout the dogs stay so you can know how he/she is doing :)
It would be great if you send me a short description of your dogs needs, special care preferences or routines with your message.
ARRANGEMENTS
Drop off and pick up in our apartment. Your pet's bedding, bowls, food, bags and toys will be required for the stay; they feel more comfortable when they smell their stuff in the house :)
PLANTS
Upon request, I can move some plants so that the stay is completely safe for the dog, let me know if your dog is not used to be around them.
CALENDAR
I update it often so I can be sure that I will have time to spend it with your pet.
TIMELINE
Drop off from 5pm
Pick up until 12pm (noon)

Due to an urgent last-minute change, we desperately needed to find a sitter for our dog, Roscoe. Luckily, we came across Mireia. Even when we met a day before to get acquainted, we had a feeling that we found the right person. She quickly bonded with Roscoe. She kept us updated every morning and evening with photos. Moreover, she didn't just take care of him; they visited many places together, ensuring Roscoe stayed socialized. We feel very lucky to have met her, and so does Roscoe. You can confidently entrust your dog to her, knowing she will care for them just as well as you would.
Our dog was having a great time with Mireia :). Yuma is very attached to us but didn’t bother being without us as we could see in the pictures and updates Mireia sent :D. And Yuma was super chill when we picked her up. I feel absolutely comfortable letting my dog stay with her for three weeks in September! :)
