I'm Britt, I'm 29 and have recently relocated to Berlin with my boyfriend. I am originally from South Africa but have since lived in the UK, Qatar and now I am excited to call Berlin 'home'. Before looking for full-time work here in Germany, I have chosen to first learn the language. I am currently taking an intensive German language course 3 hrs a day, from 12am-3pm, Monday to Thursdays. The rest of the time I am enjoying exploring the city, taking yoga classes and experiencing all Berlin has to offer. Whilst I have free time I would love to be able to support you and your pets with some extra attention, walks and companionship.
I love animals and from a young age had an interest in horseriding and caring for our family's cats and dogs. My parents, sister and Temba, our 7yr old Bijon Frise are back in the UK. Whilst working internationally I haven't been able to care for a pet full-time and have really missed this.
Whilst living in Qatar I supported a local charity by providing a temporary home for dogs and cats who had been abandoned or abused, whilst they were waiting for adoption. In the photos you can see Elsa, a 5yr old Saluki mix who loved trips to the beach. Holly, a beautiful 4month old Suluki puppy and Faith, the playful kitten. It can be hard to leave your pets for an extended period of time whilst managing an busy schedule but I can be trusted to support with:
*Dog walking - I love walking around the city and it's parks. If your pet has a favourite spot, I'd be more than happy to take them. Walks are usually 45mins, with the total time amounting to 1hour however times will be adjusted according to you/your pets needs.
*Home visit - if your pet needs a companion whilst you are away I offer home visits where I can ensure they are given plenty of attention, fed and watered in the comfort of their own home. If any extra care is needed such as medicines etc, please let me know and I would be happy to support. Home visits will last 1hour however if additional time is needed this can be arranged.
