Ich wuchs mit Hunden und Katzen auf und adoptierte 2017 mein erstes eigenes Tier, eine Katze. Es folgten zwei weitere Katzen aus dem Tierschutz, darunter ein Kitten. 
Seit 2023 bin ich als Tier- und Haussitterin aktiv und biete professionelle Betreuung an. Ich habe auf über 30 verschiedene Tiere aufgepasst, zumeist Hunde und Katzen, aber auch Kleintiere. Rund die Hälfte dieser Sits haben bei den Tierfamilien zu Hause statt gefunden, was für die Haustiere weniger belastend ist. Mein kürzester Sit Betrug zwei Nächte, der längste 6 Wochen am Stück. Ich bringe Erfahrung mit schüchternen und sensiblen Tieren (aus dem Tierschutz) mit, bin sehr geduldig und liebevoll. Da ich gerne in der Natur bin, freue ich mich, deine Hunde auszuführen und biete auch 24h Betreuung bei dir zu Hause an. Leider kann ich aufgrund meiner eigenen Haustiere keine In-House-Betreuung bei mir anbieten.

Hi! My name is Shane, I'm 35 years old, and I've been living in Cologne for almost 6 years. Originally from Armenia. I have a deep passion for animals, especially cats. Growing up, I had 4 cats at home, so I’m well-experienced with their unique personalities and needs. They've always been an important part of my life, and I currently have a cat myself. This allows me to fully understand the care and attention they require, whether it's playful companionship, quiet, cozy moments, or even medical care.
I’m fluent in English, German, Arabic and Armenian. I live near the city center and would love to offer pet-sitting services. 
As a cat-sitter, my goal is to make your life easier by providing your furry friend with the care they deserve. I love spending time with cats, and I know how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. As a passionate animal lover with experience caring for pets (my own and those of others), I am thrilled to apply for the role of a pet sitter in Cologne and its surrounds. My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from a deep-rooted love and respect for animals. Growing up in South Africa surrounded by my dogs, cats, pet mice, pet rats and my chicken, and many other animals, I've developed a strong bond and understanding of their needs and behaviours. Being a pet sitter allows me to extend that love and care to other animals while providing peace of mind to pet owners, while satisfying my own emotional needs. The love of an animal stems far beyond that of any human. 
My previous experience includes pet and house sitting for friends, family, and neighbours. I've cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals.
