Top cities for house sitting in Germany

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Dortmund home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Dortmund.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Dortmund home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi, I'm Nadya, I'm a 24 year old animal lover. I have extensive experience taking care of my two cats: a 11 year old Angora baby and a 4 year old orange tabby. Additionally, I have cared for my brother's two large Akita dogs. I am a reliable and friendly person, and my love for animals extends even to insects. I would love the opportunity to take care of your lovely pet and ensure they receive all the attention and affection they need, also I'm committed to ensuring that your dog/cat/another animal receives all the attention, and affection they need to stay happy. Whether it's going for walks, playing games, or just with my company, I am dedicated to making sure your pet feels loved and well cared for. And will follow your rules 100% to make sure your pet doesn't have stress of any kind. :)
I speak English, Spanish and right now learning German more and more!

Update: currently in Dortmund:)
Hello! I can provide all the care you need. If you need to leave your pets at my place, I live in a studio apartment in Berlin Schöneberg / Friedenau. I am also open to provide care at your location.
I discovered my love for dogs when I first cared for a friend's puppy when I was younger and I just loved that gorgeous little golden retriever as if it was my own child. I'm also good with cats or any other creature that needs care. I cared for a dog one time that was sick and couldn't move, and this was the one time I was officially hired to care for a dog.
Other than that, I am here in NRW doing my master's in design. I am also an architect and a documentary filmmaker. Outside of my duty hours, I will probably be sitting on my laptop and writing or editing my work wherever I am needed for care.
I look forward to seeing you and your non-human kids! If you need to ask me about anything extra, feel free. I speak English and Arabic since I come from Egypt.
