Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Lauf an der Pegnitz home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Lauf an der Pegnitz.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Lauf an der Pegnitz home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! I’m Taeya. I’ve spent over 5 years caring for cats, and 2 years raising my own dog. So I understand the daily need to keep pets happy, healthy, and comfortable. I’ve taken care of everything from feeding routines and playtime to long walks and those quiet cuddle moments. I treat every animal as if they were my own. ️

What I Offer:

Daily feeding and fresh water
Playtime and companionship
Dog walking (short or long walks depending on the dog’s needs)
Litter box cleaning and basic grooming
Medication administration (if needed)
Regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you’re always in the loop
Whether you’re going away for a weekend or just need someone dependable during a long workday, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and cared for.

I also understand that inviting someone to care for your pet—and sometimes your home—is a big deal. That’s why I offer a free meet-and-greet before any booking. It’s important that both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident with me. I value clear communication, reliability, and creating a stress-free experience for both pet and owner.

I love sending little photo updates during visits, so you can stay connected with your pet even while you’re away!

If you're looking for a sitter who will care for your pet with genuine love, patience, and responsibility—I'd be happy to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or to schedule a meet-and-greet!

Let’s make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve while you’re away.

Hello!
Animals have always had a very special place in my heart. I grew up with 4 dogs and 3 cats, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to know that they are in good hands. ️
I would now love to offer other pet owners a reliable, caring and personal pet-sitting service.
I prefer to care for pets in their own home, as I believe that most animals feel happiest and most comfortable in their familiar surroundings. Whether it is going for walks, feeding, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company, I am happy to follow your pet’s individual routine and needs.
I am new to pet sitting professionally and therefore don’t yet have experience through a pet-sitting platform. However, caring for dogs and cats has been part of my life since childhood. I am patient, responsible and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.
During the sitting, I am also happy to send you photos and little updates so you can relax knowing that your furry friend is doing well.
Before the first booking, I would be happy to meet you and your pet personally so we can get to know each other and discuss their routine and anything important to know.
I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend!

Since I was 7 to 12 I have my first dog. Then I've taken care of many of them in different situations. My friends know that I'm a good guy and I'm a very cool friend too for pets. Also, I have a partner that sometimes can help me.Since July 2023 we're taking care of many pets and we have a lot of experience with them, that is why many people come back because they trust us a lot. Just tell us always about the details, we'll do it the best we can.Me and my boyfriend we're going to work, so pets have to be alone (4 to 6 hours), quiet and no barking at the apartment for a few hours till we come back. As my work is just one block away, I can check on the lunch pause. Of course we'll provide the regular walks, times to eat, moments for play and hugs. If you can do a special schedule that fits, then u make the rules.Play and fun to take care of them. Spanish, English & Deutsch.
