Top cities for house sitting in Germany

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Starnberg home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Starnberg.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Starnberg home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

‍🦮Servus! Hi! My name is Rushil, I’m 24 years old and currently studying Biology at LMU in Munich. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and during my bachelor’s, I had the joy of living with and caring for my own cat. That experience deepened my understanding of animal behavior and strengthened my love for both cats and dogs. As a student with a flexible schedule, I’m available to help care for your pets—whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. I’m calm, responsible, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I know how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your pet, and I treat every animal with the same attention and affection I’d give my own. I’d be happy to help you and your furry friends—feel free to get in touch!

Hello
I'm Bindushree from India, doing my masters here in Munich and working as an accountant. I have always had a deep love and emotional connection with animals. Spending time with pets, caring for them, and understanding their needs feels very natural to me and truly brings me peace. For me, looking after animals is not just a responsibility, it is a form of therapy that I genuinely enjoy and value. Their presence makes me feel calm, happy, and fulfilled, and I treat every pet with the same love and care I would give my own family member.
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from this genuine passion for animals and my desire to create a safe, loving, and comforting environment for them when their owners are away. I am patient, gentle, and attentive, and I take time to build trust with each pet, whether they are playful, shy, or need extra reassurance. I enjoy maintaining their daily routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them the attention and affection they need to feel secure.
I only accept vaccinated pets to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in my care. Cleanliness, hygiene, and a calm home environment are very important to me. I also provide regular updates through the Pawshake platform so pet owners can feel relaxed.
Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and emotional well-being will always be my highest priority.
