My sister and I share a love of animals, and we both have experience pet-sitting. I (Francesca) am 20 and my sister (Sabina) is 23. We are dual citizens of the United States and Germany, and often spend time with our family in Frankfurt. I petsit all types of animals year-round. When I am in the US, I use Rover (a similar website to Pawshake that's not available in Germany). I will be back in Frankfurt in early July. We stay in an apartment with a big shared backyard and a beautiful park nearby - perfect for walking dogs. Our family's dog recently passed away, which has been very difficult, but caring for other pets has helped us cope with this grief. We want to give your pet as much loving attention as we would give our own dog.

Our apartment has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. We also have access to a private attic space, which will serve as a pet playroom! Everything is secure, and we always make sure to pet-proof the apartment. The backyard is big and fenced in, but it is shared by all residents. We do not have a car to pick up and deliver pets, but we are comfortable using public transportation.

We are flexible with your pet's needs and we will listen to any requirements that the owner has. Things like diet, exercise, and space can all be figured out with the owner. We offer dog boarding and will make your pet feel at home! We stay with our parents in the apartment, and have found that dogs enjoy the company of being with a family. Someone is always home! For dogs, a typical day would consist of two to three walks (catered to the dog's needs), time in the backyard, playing with toys, cuddling, and however many meals are required. Dogs and cats can sleep on our beds and sofa, but the owner can also bring their own bed. We recommend that owners bring their pet's personal toys. We will walk in our neighborhood, which is quiet and dog-friendly, and in Sinai Park, which is a few minutes away. We may also go to Nidda Park and use the dog park there! For cats and other smaller animals, there will still be plenty of play time and cuddling! If the animals get dirty, we will offer to clean them. We plan on being with the animal as much as possible. We love spending time with pets, so there will be no shortage of attention. This winter, we aren't working (just visiting family) so we have lots of time. We can send pictures and videos of your pet while you are away! 

We prefer that the pets are vaccinated and well-behaved. 

We can speak some German, but English is our first language. Prices for our services are flexible. Please contact us with any questions!
