Nikol

Hi! My name is Nikol and I am a passionate dog lover. I come from Czech Republic and grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, hamsters, fish, shrimps, parrots, and turtles around the house. After I moved abroad (first to Portugal in 2017, then to Germany in 2020), I really missed my furry company. So in 2022, I've finally got a dog - a siberian husky girl, Britney. She's very friendly and sweet with other dogs, kids, and even cats when they get to know each other.

After I've finished my PhD at Ulm University, I've finally moved to a place I always wanted - a big house with a garden in the countryside. And because I know how difficult it is to find a responsible and reliable dogsitter who doesn't leave my dog locked somewhere alone but takes good care and gives her company, I decided to become a dogsitter myself. 

I would love to meet you and your dog and see how's the dynamics between him or her and my girl, Britney. As she's very well socialised and good with almost every other dog, I think it would work out - however, it's absolutely necessary to meet before I can confirm dogsitting for you. She's young and playful, so we have to make sure it's a good fit for both dogs. For the same reason, I only accept vaccinated and regularly de-wormed, healthy dogs. If your dog has some special needs, you can text me and we can see if we can make it work out.

I live in a house with fully fenced garden with permanent access to a garage. I usually stay with my dog most of the time. She always sleeps in the house with us, and your dog would of course be treated the same as my own. I don't let dogs on the bed or sofa, but they are welcome to be inside when they want. I work from home office most of the time and can flexibly adjust, so I'd stay around your friend.

I go for walks regularly, usually four times a day. I live on the side of a village and have fields and a forest nearby. However, for safety reasons, I never leave dogs off the leash when not in the garden.
