I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter currently studying at FH Aachen, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule and can easily adapt to your pet’s routine. I’m fluent in both German and English.
I grew up in the middle of the Palatinate Forest, so being outdoors has always been a big part of my life. I love hiking, swimming and doing Pilates, and I’m always happy to take you pet on long walks or spend quality time playing with them.
Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. We had three very different cats and a super smart Border Collie named Luna, so I’m used to both independent cats and active dogs that need lots of movement, attention and affection.
I’m also the proud aunty of a lovely Jack Russell Terrier mix.
I’m calm, patient and genuinely enjoy being around animals – your pets will feel comfortable and safe with me and be in the best hands

Hi there! I'm Hans, based in Vaals right at the Dutch-German-Belgian border, just minutes from Aachen. I love spending time with animals and would be happy to look after yours.I lived with both a dog and a cat for several years and know how different every animal is. Some need an energetic walk through the hills, others just want a calm companion on the couch. I'm patient, attentive and always make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe.I offer dog walking, home visits and house sitting. Vaals and the surrounding area are perfect for walks with quiet streets, green paths and plenty of nature right on the doorstep. I'm available on weekends and flexible during the week.I'm comfortable with all kinds of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, you name it. If your animal has specific routines or needs, just let me know. I'll follow them to the letter. My walks usually last around 30 minutes, but I'm happy to adjust based on your dog's energy and needs. During home visits I make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, gets some playtime and attention, and I'll always send you a photo update so you know everything is going well. I'm comfortable giving medication if needed. Just walk me through the routine. In case of an emergency, I'll contact you immediately and head to the nearest vet if necessary.Feel free to send me a message. I'm happy to do a free meet & greet first!

I have a genuine love for dogs, appreciating their playful energy, sweet nature, and deep loyalty. I believe dogs are like children, needing love, patience, and gentle guidance. With me, your furry friend will find a caring companion who treats them as a true partner and a loved family member.
I have extensive experience as a trained dog walker in Istanbul, a city with a unique environment that has taught me to navigate complex walking situations. Through this, I have built wonderful, trusting relationships with dogs of all types.
Here’s what you can expect from my walking service:
Tailored to Your Dog’s Needs: I approach each walk as a bonding experience. I often talk to the dogs I walk, sharing stories and creating a positive, happy atmosphere. Seeing a happy, relaxed dog with a wagging tail after our time together is the best part of my job.
A Focus on Safety: Your pet's safety is my top priority. I prefer walking in quiet, non-traffic areas like parks and paths to keep them away from danger. I am trained in handling emergency situations, such as managing a lost dog scenario or a dog fight, to ensure I can keep your pet safe at all times.
Adaptable and Patient: Whether your dog is strong, high-energy, or has other specific needs, I have the experience to handle them. For example, my first regular walk was with a energetic terrier, which I handled successfully, learning that great care, patience, and clear guidance are key.
Your Preferred Walking Spots: I am very open to exploring popular spots around Lousberg or taking your dog to beautiful grassy fields for plenty of playtime.
Flexible Schedule: My standard walk is a minimum of 30 minutes, but I am more than happy to extend this to longer walks. I aim to be a helper to you and a partner to your pet, making sure I adapt to whatever you both need.

I am 48 years old and come from Cologne and i am new to the Netherlands. I moved to Belgium near Maastricht 2 years ago because I married my boyfriend from Venlo. Since November 2024 I live in Heerlen. I am a social worker and work flexibly in Aachen so I can in the morning, noon or evening and I have a car. I have an old cat myself who unfortunately is not compatible with other cats or dogs, so only small animals can stay with me. I naturally love animals and have always been involved with them, having worked on farms, on a children's farm, even with exotic animals and with horses. I am open to all animals, but I am not a dog expert, there are more experienced ones here :-) I look forward to meeting your animal and you. I speak Dutch, German and English. Best regards from Alexandra

Hallo!

Was ich anbiete:

Hi there! I’m currently living here in Aachen, and while I’m enjoying the city, there is one major thing I miss from back home: the constant company of a dog. Back in my hometown of Nairobi, I have a dog who has been a huge part of my life for years. Being away from them has left a bit of a void in my daily routine, which is exactly why I decided to join Pawshake. I truly miss the bond you build with a pet and would love to share that energy with yours.
Because I’ve raised and cared for my own dog, I am fully accustomed to all the duties that come with it. I’m not just here for the cuddles; I understand the importance of consistent feeding schedules, refreshing water, and keeping a close eye on a dog’s overall well-being and behavior. Whether your dog needs a run through the park, a patient walk to explore new scents, or just a companion to hang out with while you’re away, I’m happy to adapt to their specific personality.
I’m reliable, patient, and very comfortable handling different breeds and temperaments. I’m looking forward to meeting your furry friend and providing them with the same care and attention I give my own dog back home!
