Tiere waren schon immer ein fester Bestandteil meines Lebens – und ehrlich gesagt kann ich mir ein Zuhause ohne sie kaum vorstellen. Für mich sind Haustiere keine „Aufgabe“, sondern Familienmitglieder, um die man sich mit Zeit, Geduld und ganz viel Herz kümmert.
Ich habe 16 Jahre lang mit unserer Hündin zusammengelebt, was mich sehr geprägt hat. In dieser Zeit habe ich gelernt, Verantwortung zu übernehmen, Routinen einzuhalten und vor allem aufmerksam zu sein – denn jedes Tier hat seinen eigenen Charakter und seine eigenen Bedürfnisse.
Heute lebe ich mit vier Katzen zusammen: eine ist 10 Jahre alt, eine 9 Jahre, und zwei sind 3 Jahre alt. Dadurch kenne ich sowohl den Umgang mit älteren, ruhigeren Tieren als auch mit jungen, verspielten Fellnasen, die viel Aufmerksamkeit und Beschäftigung brauchen.
Ich bin ein ruhiger, empathischer und sehr verlässlicher Mensch und habe ein gutes Gespür dafür, was Tiere gerade brauchen – Nähe oder Abstand, Spiel oder Ruhe. Mir ist wichtig, dass sich jedes Tier sicher fühlt und Vertrauen aufbauen kann. Ich nehme mir bewusst Zeit, halte mich an feste Abläufe und gehe liebevoll auf individuelle Wünsche ein.

I studied in the UK and now am based in the south of Germany where I work as a field Archeologist in Heidelberg and the Odenwald region. Hello! My name is Bella, I'm 24 and currently doing a Master's in Transcultural Studies as an international student in Heidelberg University.
I have been surrounded by animals all my life — I grew up with cats, hamsters, and even a few rescued kittens that my mother and I took care of. My mom is a veterinarian and has been working as a pet sitter occasionally, so I learned early how to understand animals and care for them with love and patience.
Besides more recent experience, I successfully pet-sat a cat this July while the owner was away for a week, and I truly enjoyed it! Hopefully, the cat did too :) She is a playful young cat who did very well living with someone new instead of her owner for the first time.My friends call it my "superpower," but I believe that I just happen to be in the right place at the right time and taking responsibility for an animal that needs attention and help. Recently I helped rescue a lost cat who climbed up a tree and cried, and the other time I was the first one to notice a cat who fell out of the window, called the vet and stayed with the cat until the owner showed up. These moments taught me how to stay calm and patient in difficult situations.
Animals usually feel comfortable with me — even shy or grumpy cats. You can see it in the photos: the ginger cat enjoying scratches is normally quite unfriendly, yet she’s completely relaxed with me; and the cautious striped cat, though careful, clearly feels safe nearby. I truly believe in my ability to understand cats' boundaries because that's what they value most (after the food, obviously ;)). Since I can't get my own cat yet, I would be happy to take care of yours! I currently live in a shared apartment, so I offer pet-sitting at the owner’s home.&nbsp;


Hi! I'm Rocío. I'm 26 and come directly from the South of Spain. There, we always shared our home with pets. So I'm super used to them and I cannot imagine my life without them around. When I was little, Dino, a small dog, was the love of our lives. That's when I understood the importance of having four legs around. Later, I grew up with Nora, our prettiest love, who will always be. Living with pets is not only about taking care of them and enjoying them, but I really feel they are the ones who make us feel loved and important. Sharing life with those little buddies is the best feeling ever, and this could be one of the most rewarding jobs here.
My free times are mostly in the morning from Monday to Thursday, then afternoon and evening on Friday and Saturday and Sunday the whole day! Ich verstehe, dass jedes Tier individuelle Bedürfnisse hat, und halte mich stets genau an die Anweisungen der Besitzer, damit sich die Tiere sicher, glücklich und gut betreut fühlen. Während unseres Urlaubs auf Teneriffa sind mein Freund und ich jeden Tag in ein nahegelegenes Tierheim gegangen, um Hunde auszuführen. Seit ich 7 Jahre alt bin engagiert sich meine Mutter als Pflegestelle im Tierschutzverein, dadurch habe ich bereits als Kind Kontakt und viel Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Hunden sammeln können. Wir hatten auch eine Zeit lang eine Welpengruppe und natürlich einen eigenen Familienhund. Seit&nbsp; damals liebe ich Hunde und wollte schon immer Tierärztin werden. Wie das Leben manchmal so ist hat das nicht geklappt und ich habe viele Jahre im Finanzwesen gearbeitet. Wir haben auch schon immer Katzen gehabt und seit ich 17 bin, habe ich eigene Katzen (Freigänger). Meine Milka ist aktuell 11 Jahre alt.&nbsp;Seit 2023 habe ich meine Leidenschaft wiederentdeckt und mir vor ein paar Wochen meinen ersten eigenen Hund adoptiert. Meine Molly ist eine 6-jährige Hündin aus Rumänien. Sie ist einfach toll, umgänglich, lustig, verspielt, lieb und hat durch ihre Jahre im Shelter eine feine Kommunikation erlernt. Sie ist immer höflich kann sich aber auch durchsetzen wenn ihr etwas zu viel wird. Sie ist eine gute Lehrerin für junge Hunde die ihre Grenzen noch testen. Ich erziehe sie nach der KEML Methode meiner Freundin Katharina Marioth "Deutschlands beste Hundetrainerin 2023".Seit April studiere ich neben meinem Halbtagsjob Tierheilpraktik an der Paracelsus Akademie in Mannheim. Dort lerne ich aktuell alle veterinärmedizinischen Grundlagen, Notfallversorgung sowie praktische Erfahrungen und natürliche Heilmethoden.Wenn Sie das als Halter wünschen könnte ich einen kleinen kostenlosen Check-up vor jedem Spaziergang machen mit z.B. Auskultation des Herzens / der Lunge, Pulsmessung, Ohren anschauen, Prüfung von Verspannungen im Rücken / Nacken.Da ich 3x die Woche Teilzeit im Homeoffice arbeite und normalerweise Mittags gegen 13 Uhr mit Molly einen 1-stündigen Ausflug mache, würde mir diese Uhrzeit am besten passen. Vorwiegend Dienstag, Mittwoch oder Freitag. Ich wäre von der Uhrzeit aber&nbsp;sehr flexibel. Molly würde uns auf unseren Ausflügen natürlich begleiten. Falls ein Termin in meinem Kalender blockiert ist, Sie aber dringend jemanden suchen fragen Sie mich gerne spontan, manchmal kann ich dies dann einrichten.&nbsp;Ich wohne im Neubaugebiet in Heddesheim, in der Nähe gibt es sowohl Felder zum Auslauf und Schnüffeln als auch eine eingezäunte Hundewiese und den Natursee.&nbsp;Ich wäre aber auch flexibel an einem anderen Ort den Gassi-Service anzubieten. Da ich ein Auto habe, kann ich auch zu Ihnen fahren, falls gewünscht (Umkreis ca. 10 km). Auch Katzen könnte ich versorgen (spielen, füttern).&nbsp;Ich würde mich freuen Sie und Ihren Vierbeiner persönlich kennen zu lernen.&nbsp;

Ich wohne in der Weststadt und habe ein Auto mit dem ich schnell alles erreichen kann falls etwas sein sollte oder jemand kurzfristig meine hilfe braucht. Wenn sie sich in Heidelberg oder auch im Umkreis von Heidelberg wohnen wäre es am besten da ich so eben auch spontan mal einspringen kann wenn sie einen Termin haben.
