Top cities for dog boarding in Germany

For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Hamburg-Mitte for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Hamburg-Mitte Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Hamburg-Mitte sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, I’m Sachin, an IT Project Manager working from home, and a proud owner of a playful beagle. Living in a cozy 2-room apartment with a spacious balcony just 200 meters from Harburg City Park, I’m lucky to have the perfect environment for dogs to enjoy fresh air, play, and long walks in nature.
With flexible working hours and a genuine love for dogs, I’m offering

to fellow pet owners. Whether you need someone to look after your furry friend during your busy schedule or simply want them to enjoy extra time outdoors, I provide reliable and caring support.
I also offer a pick and drop service at an affordable price, making it easy and stress-free for you. On Mondays and Fridays, my wife works from home too, so your pet will always have company, attention, and lots of love.

Hallo liebe Haustierbesitzer!

Hi! I’m 28 years old, live in Hamburg, and work full time as a Business & Tech consultant.
I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and grew up in a household with multiple dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats, chinchillas, and birds. Caring for animals has always been a natural and important part of my life, and I truly enjoy building connections with them.
At this stage, I’m unfortunately unable to have a pet of my own, which is why I’m excited to give all my love, attention, and care to your furry buddy while you’re away. I treat every animal as an individual and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
I’m quite flexible and I have an option to work from home, so just hit me up.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and your beloved companion

Hello everyone, dear animal lovers,

My name is Gamze and I am 42 years old. Animals have always been a big part of my life. Over the years I have cared for many animals—birds, rabbits, goats—but mostly cats and dogs.

I had two dogs, and sadly I recently lost one of them at the age of 16. I miss him very much and there is a big emptiness in my life now. At the moment I live with my terrier, and I simply cannot imagine a life without dogs.

When I take care of your dog, their safety, comfort and happiness are my priority. Walks usually last 30–60 minutes, depending on the dog’s energy level and needs. I pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings during walks to keep them safe.

I am patient with shy or nervous dogs and give them the time and space they need to feel comfortable and build trust. During home visits I can feed your pet, refresh their water, play with them, and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for while you are away.

If any unexpected situation happens, I stay calm and immediately contact the owner and follow their instructions. I always respect the routines that dogs are used to so they feel secure and comfortable.

Your furry friend will always be in safe and loving hands with me.

The only small difficulty is that I do not speak German yet, but if you speak English we can communicate easily.

I am really looking forward to meeting you—and especially your furry friend.

Best regards,
Gamze
