Growing up with dogs, had a great impact on us. We love dogs, we just did not take the step yet to get our own. As a freelancer, I (Fatima) have the freedom to structure my days around the needs of the pets I care for, which means plenty of time for walks, play, and calm companionship. For many years, we have regularly looked after the dogs of friends and family, and also travel with a dog at least once a year. These experiences have taught us how different dogs communicate, what makes them feel safe, and how to adapt to various temperaments and routines.At home, you will find a peaceful and reliable environment. My Partner (Alex) works full-time from home and enjoys long walks, so active dogs are always welcome to join for long runs or energetic walks. I also work professionally with children, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility, patience, and clear communication—qualities that help me offer consistent and trustworthy care.
Our goal is to create a warm, stress-free atmosphere where every dog feels like part of our little family. For safety reasons, we only take vaccinated pets into my home. We would also prefer to only take housebroken dogs. I want every dog in my care to feel comfortable, loved, and fully supported in their individual needs.&nbsp;

Mit einem Hund aufzuwachsen hat uns stark positiv geprägt. Wir lieben Hunde sehr, haben jedoch bisher noch nicht den Schritt gewagt, selbst einen zu adoptieren. Als Freiberuflerin habe ich (Fatima) die Freiheit, meinen Tag flexibel zu gestalten und mich ganz nach den Bedürfnissen der Tiere zu richten, die ich betreue. So bleibt viel Zeit für Spaziergänge, Spielphasen und ruhige Momente voller Nähe und Geborgenheit. Seit vielen Jahren kümmere wir uns regelmäßig um die Hunde von Freund*innen und Familie und reisen mindestens einmal im Jahr gemeinsam mit einem Hund. Diese Erfahrungen haben uns gezeigt, wie unterschiedlich Hunde kommunizieren, was ihnen Sicherheit gibt und wie man sich an verschiedene Charaktere und Routinen anpasst.Bei uns zu Hause erwartet Hunde ein ruhiges, liebevolles und verlässliches Umfeld. Mein Mann arbeitet Vollzeit im Homeoffice und geht gerne lang spazieren, sodass aktive Hunde zusätzliche Bewegung bekommen können. Durch meine berufliche Tätigkeit mit Kindern bringe ich zudem viel Geduld, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und klare Kommunikation mit, Eigenschaften, die mir auch in der Tierbetreuung besonders wichtig sind.Mein Ziel ist es, eine warme, stressfreie Atmosphäre zu schaffen, in der sich jeder Hund wie ein Teil unserer kleinen Familie fühlt. Aus Sicherheitsgründen nehmen wir nur geimpfte Hunde in unser Zuhause auf. Außerdem bevorzugen wir Hunde, die bereits stubenrein sind. Mir liegt am Herzen, dass sich jedes Tier bei uns sicher, geliebt und individuell betreut fühlt.

Hey there! My name is Yenmi. I am from Taiwan and now I am doing an apprenticeship of baker. This is my second year of job in Mainz. In 2023 I have been to Osnabrück as an exchange student and did my first time of dog sitting. I have so much fun!
[Why I petsit]
Although I have no experiences of raising a pet in my hometown, there are usually a lot of stray cats and dogs, which I will always take care of. I have also joined the "Animal Protection club"when I studied in my university, and I would take care of their diet and the cleanse of the environment. Instead of raising the pets, I am still loving to stay with animals, also get to know more about them

ich bin Valentina und 30 Jahre alt. Ich studiere Medizin in Mainz und wohne in der Mainzer Neustadt in einer großzügigen Wohnung im 5. OG mit Balkon. Das Haus hat sogar einen Aufzug, also für junge und alte Vierbeiner ideal. Ich möchte gerne mehr von der Gegend in und um Mainz sehen und suche dafür einen vierbeinigen Begleiter. Zum Rhein ist es von meiner Wohnung aus nicht weit (2 Gehminuten) und um den Rhein herum kann man wunderbare Spaziergänge machen. Da ich mit Tieren und vor allem Hunden groß geworden bin, kann ich auf eine langjährige Erfahrung mit Hunden zurückgreifen. Falls Interesse da ist, können wir uns gerne bei einem unverbindlichen gemeinsamen Gassi beschnuppern. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn Sie mir Ihren Hund anvertrauen. Sie können sich sicher sein, dass die Fellnase in guten und liebevollen Händen ist. Wenn Sie noch weitere Fragen haben, scheuen Sie sich nicht, sich bei mir zu melden. Ich biete Ihnen Hundebetreuung (bei mir Zuhause) an oder auch einfach nur Gassi gehen mit Abholservice. Allerdings wäre der Abholservice in einem begrenzten Radius (5-10 km) um die Neustadt herum. Ich wohne alleine und kann mich rund um die Uhr um Ihren Vierbeiner kümmern. Ihr Hund darf sich frei in meiner Wohnung bewegen und auch seinen Schlafplatz selbst wählen, Hauptsache er/sie fühlt sich wohl. Nur Schlafen im Bett oder auf der Couch ist tabu. Auf dem Balkon wäre ich immer mit dabei, damit der Hund sich dort nicht alleine aufhält und nichts passieren kann.
Kurz zu mir: ich bin mit Tieren groß geworden, habe einen Hund seit ich auf der Welt bin und bin früher viel geritten. Der Golden Retriever auf den Bildern heißt Sam und war mein erster tierischer Begleiter, als ich auf die Welt kam, da war er ein Jahr alt. Nach und nach kamen dann auch die Kaninchen (Hoppel und Schnupperle) dazu, um als Kind zu lernen, was es heißt Verantwortung für ein Tier zu übernehmen. Ich habe sie mit einer Hingabe versorgt. Sam's Nachfolger ist Otto, der lustige weiße mit dem braunen Auge und den tollen Pommestütenohren. Im Vergleich zum großen Goldi Sam ist Otto nur kniehoch, dafür aber ein echtes Powerpaket. Das heißt viel Gassi gehen und große Runden drehen bei Wind und Wetter - wunderbar für's Immunsystem. Oftmals hatten wir auch vierbeinige Begleitung bei unseren Gassirunden dabei, die gerne mit uns mitgekommen sind. Otto ist mittlerweile auch schon ein Senior, lebt bei meinen Eltern und ich sehe ihn nur wochenends, wenn ich in meiner Heimat bin. Update: unser Senior Otto ist mit fast 18 Jahren Anfang 2026 verstorben. 
Hier in Mainz bin ich leider ganz ohne Haustier, weswegen ich mich immer freue, wenn ich einen tierischen Besucher bei mir habe. Ich bin offen für jede Art und Größe von Hund, und durch meine langjährige Erfahrung kann ich individuell auf die Bedürfnisse des Hundes eingehen. Bezüglich Uhrzeiten und Dauer der Gassigänge bin ich relativ flexibel, da vieles im Studium derzeit noch von Zuhause aus stattfindet. Da ich wochenends in der Heimat arbeite, stehe ich nur unter der Woche für die Hundebetreuung zur Verfügung.

ich bin Leonie, 26 Jahre alt und noch in meinem Masterstudium. Dadurch habe ich in der Woche den ein oder anderen freien Tag. Ich bin mit Hunden (Dackel) aufgewachsen und weiß daher wie schön es ist mit Vierbeinern Zeit zu verbringen:) In der Vergangenheit habe ich bereits Tagessitting angeboten und hatte die tolle Gelegenheit einen lieben Golden Retriever zu betreuen. Diese Erfahrung war wirklich schön weshalb ich das gerne fortführen würde:) Ich bin offen für alle Hunde, wobei ich mich sehr freue, wenn sie bereits gut an der Leine sind. Ich selbst habe aktuell keinen Hund, da mir noch die notwendige Zeit dafür fehlt aber bis dahin freue ich mich sehr mit deinem Hund oder deiner Hündin Zeit zu verbringen! 

Am liebsten biete ich Tagessitting an, aber auch Gassigehen oder auch längere Aufenthalte sind nach vorheriger Absprache möglich.

Heyy :) ich bin Tamara, 21 Jahre alt und Studentin dadurch bin ich zeitlich sehr flexibel und kann mich zuverlässig und liebevoll um Tiere kümmern.

Schon seit meiner Kindheit habe ich eine enge Verbindung zu Tieren. Diese Leidenschaft hat mich dazu gebracht, als Tiersitterin zu arbeiten und Tierbesitzer im Alltag zu unterstützen. Seit ich zwölf bin, kümmere ich mich regelmäßig um meinen Pflegehund Luca und konnte so viele wertvolle Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Hunden sammeln.

Zusätzlich habe ich über die Jahre hinweg mehrere Hundesitting Jobs übernommen und dabei die unterschiedlichsten Hunderassen und Charaktere kennengelernt. Ein besonderes Highlight war mein einmonatiger Aufenthalt in Griechenland, wo ich als Volunteer in einem Animal Shelter gearbeitet habe. Dort konnte ich mein Wissen über Hundeverhalten deutlich vertiefen und habe gelernt, auch mit unsicheren oder anspruchsvolleren Hunden ruhig und sicher umzugehen.

Auch mit Katzen kenne ich mich gut aus ich habe bereits öfter Katzensitting gemacht und schätze ihre ganz eigene, besondere Art sehr.

Mir ist wichtig, dass sich jedes Tier bei mir sicher, wohl und geborgen fühlt. Auch ohne Garten habe ich eine große Terrasse, die sich perfekt zum Entspannen eignet. Außerdem wohne ich direkt am Steinbruch, am Volkspark und am Rhein also ideale Orte für abwechslungsreiche Spaziergänge.

Ob groß oder klein  ich nehme alle stubenreinen Hunde auf, solange sie nicht beißen :) Grundkommandos sollten idealerweise sitzen, damit der Alltag entspannt abläuft.

Und das Wichtigste: Bei mir darf der Hund mit ins Bett ️ Für mich gehören Nähe, Geborgenheit und ganz viel Zuneigung einfach dazu, damit sich dein Liebling wie zu Hause fühlt.

Ich übernehme gerne alles rund ums Tier: Gassi gehen, Füttern, Spielen, Kuscheln und auch das Verabreichen von Medikamenten oder spezielle Fütterungspläne sind für mich kein Problem. Durch meinen Pflegehund habe ich damit bereits Erfahrung und gehe dabei immer sehr sorgfältig und zuverlässig vor :)

Ich lebe mit meinen drei eigenen Hunden und einem Pflegehund auf ca. 120 qm Wohnfläche mit einem eingezäunten Gartenbereich.&nbsp;
Als Tierärztin aus der Verhaltensmedizin bin ich auf Mehrhundehaltung und auf Tierschutzhunde spezialisiert und biete die Betreuung nebenbei in meinem Alltag an. Meine Hunde leben mit mir meinen Alltag (entweder im eigenen Büro oder draußen an der frischen Luft) und ich lege Wert darauf, dass jeder Hund genügend Pausen- und Ruhezeiten bekommt. Sollten die Hunde mal nicht mitkommen können, bleiben sie im ca. 45qm großen Wohnzimmer zuhause; natürlich habe ich hier die Möglichkeit, die Hunde im selben Raum auch zu trennen wenn das nötig sein sollte.
Wir leben zusammen als "Familie" und es gibt keine Zwingeranlagen oder extra Hundezimmer. Ich nehme maximal zwei zusätzliche Hunde bei uns auf - Qualität vor Quantität. Deswegen lege ich in den Zeitraum einer Betreuung nur die wichtigsten Termine und stelle meine anderen Termine zurück.
Meine 3 bzw. 4 Hunde die hier aktuell mit mir leben sind ganz unterschiedliche Hundepersönlichkeiten mit unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen. Umso wichtiger ist mir deshalb, dass jeder Hund auch seinen Freiraum bekommt, wenn er z.B. eine größere Individualdistanz hat.
In der Regel gehe ich einmal am Tag eine größere Runde spazieren und dann noch mindestens zweimal eine kleine Runde oder wir gehen in den eingezäunten eigenen Garten - das kommt immer darauf an, was wir den Tag über gemacht haben - "mit meinen Hunden leben" ist mein Motto.&nbsp;

My name’s Daria, I’m 29, and happy to be with my amazing dog Lebkuchen for almost 9 years now ️I actually grew up with dogs, so honestly, I can’t really imagine life without animals anymore :) Of course, it's no problem at all for me to take care of your little one — or your grown-up pup!
