Hi everyone! I moved recently to Berlin to do a masters, and my dog is back home with my family. I miss him very much, as well as the general experience of spending time with dogs - which is why I decided join this app.
When it comes to my experience - my dog is a rowdy golden retriever so I have learned how to handle big dogs that like to pull (you really need to activate your core ). We also spend a lot of time at the dog park, so I have had my fair share of breaking up dog fights and know how to read their body language and react accordingly, i.e. avoid any unpleasant situations. 
Generally, it is a pleasure for me to spend time with dogs and because I have a dog myself, I am aware of the responsibility walking a dog entails and I know that I would not let just anyone walk my dog.&nbsp;
I also enjoy being around cats and I respect their individuality - it is a cat's world and we're just living in it. 
I am open to any questions and ready to listen to any quirks your dog or cat might have so that I can make every walk or visit as enjoyable as possible for them!

Hallo! Ich bin Ana! Ich bin 23 Jahre alt und habe vor drei Monate eine Schulische Ausbildung abgeschlossen als Fashion Journalistin und Stylist in Düsseldorf. Ürsprunglich komme ich aus Lima, Peru, aber ich wohne in Deutschland seit 2018. Seitdem, habe in verschiedene Städte gewohnt sowie Bremen, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf und jetzt, bin ich in Berlin. Deshalb, kann ich fließend auf Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch reden. 

In Peru habe ich ein kleines Hund, sie heißt Bianca, und ist 17 Jahre alt. Sie ist schon alt (nur ein bisschen haha), aber voll lieb und ist immer noch eine sehr glückliche Seele. In 2007 hat meine Mama sie in Cusco im Innenstadt gefunden. Seitdem, sind wir drei Mädels untrennbar. 

Dieses Winter, als ich wieder nach Lima zum Besuch gekommen bin, habe ich auf dem Hund von meinem Bruder gekümmert. Er ist ins Urlaub nach Argentinien gegangen, und deswegen bräuchte er ein sitter für „Homero.“ Obwohl ich viel zu tun hatte, hat er mich Gesellschaft und Liebe gebracht im Alltag. Es hat mir auf jeden fall voll viel Spaß gebracht, und habe ich realisiert wie viel ich mein Hund vermisse als ich in Deutschland bin.

Deswegen bin ich auf die Idee gekommen Tiersitterin zu sein! Ich wohne in einer WG und bin momentan auf der suche nach eine feste Job in der fashion industrie hier in Berlin. In der zwischen zeit, habe ich die Flexibilität zu ihnen nach hause zu kommen und auf ihren Haustier zu kümmern. Ich kann die ganzen Tag bleiben oder längerer, wie Sie möchten. 

Ich bin eine sehr charismatisch person die mag im Gesellschaft zu sein, und würde sehr gerne mit ihrem Haustier bleiben.

I am from Costa Rica and I have been in Berlin working in a permanent way. I am in love with Berlin and its many places to go and relax. The bummer part is that I need to work at the office three days a week, so my days of sitting are stretched.
The good thing is that, I do home office two times a week from my apartment and I have an amazing companion called Coco. She is a 4 years old Yorkshire terrier who is a cutie pie and loves to be around other dogs and cats, as well as I do. We both love cuddling while watching movies, sleeping while everyone works, taking walks and playing with lots of toys.
We live near many parks and recreational areas where we can rest and get some vitamin c, as well.
We both speak English, Spanish, French and a little Portuguese; and soon will speak German.
Back in our country, we used to take care of another two dogs and one cat named Niko, Gigi and Missy respectively. They are amazing and we miss them very much.
We come from a health-workers family, so we know how to give medications and any first aid knowledge.
I also worked as an Au Pair for many years, so I also have experience with children.

My name is Gaby, I am Colombian and a dog lover, I have 2 wonderful dogs at home and a cat. I love to go for walks with them but as we are far away now I would like to keep sharing with some furry friends, I speak English and German, I love to walk and sit and pamper their tummies and paws. They will end up very happy.
I always do walks depending on the level of sedentary lifestyle of the pet and its energy level, also if you want in groups we must look at their behavior with others and with strangers, little by little we will be more friends and getting to know each other more, we will explore new places and look for the best quiet routes for our paws.
Your furry one will be safe with me, however we must get to know each other first and establish a little relationship and adaptation of your pet, it will be the most peaceful for them, they will live a great experience, I usually like to go out in the mornings as the air is fresher and there are not so many people around.
I am willing to walk your pets with lots of love, get to know them together and also if you ever need to take care of them at night.

Due to the fact that I am active person, I can walk your dog for a long time and play with them due to my location. I truly feel comfortable with animals and understand their behaviour. For me, cats and dogs have a brain of three-year-old child with empathy. In my hometown, I had experience of a pet sitter for dog. I found lots of in common with them such as long walks, active games and intellectual games. 
From my personal experience as an owner of a cat, I fully understand their needs. For example, I had a cat from previous owners, who had social anxiety, so I know where do pet has boundaries that I totally respect. Despite all the difficulties of cats, I understand how to make friends with them and even taught my cat to hug, give a paw, stand on its hind legs. All because through the game I earn their trust.

I had the privilege of adopting an endearing orange stray, featured in my profile picture, who held a special place in my heart. He was born on our home's balcony, sadly losing his mother in a road accident shortly after birth. I nurtured him from then on. Regrettably, at seven months old, he fell ill unexpectedly. Despite multiple vet visits over a week, his health declined, and he passed away. This poignant experience has inspired me to continue my commitment to caring for cats—ensuring their nourishment, safety, and shelter.&nbsp;

I am a dog loving Canadian who has been guilt tripped into leaving my beloved golden doodle back home. Considering I love dogs, but work a lot, I'm hoping to help others out while I get some amazing dog cuddles and walks in.
In the past I have volunteered with dogs at Friends4Life where I was able to get some behavioural training including positive reinforcement, sensory training, and more.
&nbsp;I have a general love of dogs, but again cannot own one myself at this time due to work schedules, travelling ext.
I am unfortunately very allergic to cats so cannot help there. But for dogs I'm happy to walk, spend time with, and babysit (likely at your apartment as mine does not allow dogs).&nbsp;
I do not have any animals or children. I'm 33 year old professional women with a happy demeanour.&nbsp;

Ever since I can remember we had a family dog.
Mostly from the animal shelter or from a nearby farm. 
Four years ago I moved to Berlin and since my family is still living in the south of Germany I don't see or walk our dog as often as I would like to. 
Just before Corona hit I was thinking of asking the animal shelters if they need help but then the whole world stopped and this plan was put on hold.
Recently a good friend of mine told me about Pawshake and here I am trying it out.
Currently I'm living in a spacious ground floor shared flat - also with a cat - located close to the lovely Rehberge park and next to the canal, surrounded by plenty of green spaces to walk around. We have a little private garden and a small park for dog walkers and sports activities, outside our front door.  
Since we're having Iris the cat we would need to check if overnight stays will work out, but generally Iris is a very chill cat. 

Becoming a pet sitter is something I've always wanted to do as I always loved dogs and I've been growing up enhoy their company and taking care of them. Despite the demands of writing my thesis and my ongoing internship, I find pure joy in spending time with our furry friends and I'd like to use pawfriends to do so! 
Now that I can't personally own one I still feel that somehow I can help other owners and at the same time enjo the love that only animals can give us! 
Until now I had 2 dogs, a English Setter and a Waimaraner so I'd say that I'm pretty used to very active dogs :)

ich bin Franca, 20 Jahre alt und studiere derzeit an der Freien Universität in Berlin. 
Ich selbst, bin mit unserer Hündin Mila, einem Australien Shepherd, aufgewachsen. Nun hat es mich allerdings zum Studieren nach Berlin "verschlagen" und ich vermisse sie natürlich total. ...Mit ihr zu kuscheln, Gassi zu gehen oder auch leichte Tricks einzuüben. 
Das ist auch meine Motivation, weshalb ich mich hier angemeldet habe. Ich liebe Hunde im Allgemeinen und beschäftige mich sehr gern mit ihnen. Diese Plattform ermöglicht es mir, Zeit mit Deinem Lieblings-Vierbeiner zu verbringen und gleichzeitig Dir die Zeit zu geben, Termine oder Ähliches sorglos wahrzunehmen.
Ich bin wirklich zuverlässig, sorg- und einfühlsam.
Besonders gern gehe ich mit Hündinnen und Rüden in schönen Parks spazieren, spiele und beschäftige mich mit ihnen, kann sie füttern oder auch zu Hause besuchen.
Dabei bin ich zeitlich eigentlich recht flexibel. Gerade an den Morgenden und an den Nachmittagen/Abenden habe ich viel Zeit. Ab und zu habe ich (vor allem vormittags) Vorlesungen, aber diese sollten keine Probleme darstellen. Gerade auch die Wochenenden hätte ich besonders viel Zeit für Deinen Vierbeiner.
Ich würde anbieten, sie/ihn bei dir zu Hause abzuholen (hängt natürlich aber auch von der Entfernung zwischen uns ab - aber das lässt sich ja besprechen ), Gassi zu gehen, zu füttern und auch sonst für ein paar mehr Stunden aufzupassen. Ggf könnte Dein Vierbeiner auch bei mir zu Hause sein. Allerdings wohne ich in einer recht kleinen Wohnung, weshalb ich lieber in nahegelegen Parks, Wäldern etc spazieren gehen wollen würde. :)
In der Vergangenheit hatte ich des Weiteren übrigens auch schon mit vielen Katzen zu tun. Das liegt daran, weil ich einfach ein großes 🤍 für alle Tiere habe. Meine Katze Fipsy hat es in der Vergangenheit immer gut bei mir gehabt und ist glücklich.  Und das ist auch mein Anspruch an mich, wenn ich mich um Dein Tier kümmere. Es soll sich wohl, geborgen und beschäftigt fühlen. 
Also, wenn Du Fragen haben solltest - ich bin immer gern erreichbar und natürlich auch offen, Euch beide persönlich kennenzulernen ️ Ich würde mich wirklich freuen!
